Description: |
Far from the busy costas, yet just an hours drive from both Murcia and Alicante airports this large luxury villa is set in its own six acres of private gated grounds, perfect for the get away from it all holiday.
The house is very large and very well equipped for families to share, or for large groups seeking a relaxing holiday together. It is set in a rural but not remote area in the wine region of Jumilla, with local bodegas to visit.
The nearby towns of Pinoso and Jumilla, both less than 10 minutes by car have supermarkets, restaurants, bars and banks and the coast is just an hour away too. Most of our guests spend lots of time enjoying this house, with a few trips out as well. We have many returning guests year after year.
The house itself used to have a winery until about 15 years ago, this has now been converted into a stunning kitchen with large dining room and bar area with all amenities, huge table to seat 16, sofa, 3 rocking chairs, barstools, fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker and dishwasher.
Outside the pool and terrace areas are large and very secluded with fabulous mountain views in every direction. A gas BBQ, large table to seat 12 and lots of poolside loungers, and pool toys for children and adults alike!
The house is approximately 3000 sq feet, there are no sofabeds or foldaway beds just great space for families to share, bring the grandparents (downstairs bedrooms, one with a waterbed, and bathroom too) or a large group of friends. All towels and bedlinen provided.
The bedrooms are all spacious and will easily sleep 10. The outdoor space is enormous, well there are 6 acres, within that is a large walled terrace with the pool. You do not need to worry about noisy neighbours, you can just about see the next house 400 meteres away.
The pool is gradually sloping from about 1m to 2m at the deep end, with roman steps. There is a lovely dining area, with gas bbq and shaded areas to escape and relax too.
Things to do when you want to get active:
Horseriding, quod biking, mountain walking, cycle hire all available locally.
Visit the famous Casa de la Ermita winery just 10 mins from the house.
Take a trip to the local markets, Pinoso on Saturday, Jumilla on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Buy shoes - they are all excellent quality and many of Spains shoes are made in the local town of Elda
Climb up to the top of Jumilla castle to watch the sun set - amazing views.
Visit the historic city of Murcia, great for shopping too, 40 miles from house.
Relax in the spas at Fortuna about 25 miles.
