Xaymaca is a beautifully restored traditional 19th C country-village house offering top quality self-catering holiday accommodation for a maximum of 8 people. The house’s charming interior, with 4 en-suite bedrooms and spacious living areas, is decorated and equipped to high standards for maximum comfort. Outdoors, an open courtyard, garden, fruit orchard and large swimming pool, offer a wide choice of areas to relax and enjoy your holiday. Nestled amongst citrus groves, this tranquil and beautiful setting is the ideal spot for that perfect “get away from it all” holiday for families or groups of friends.

Located between the village and the countryside, Xaymaca offers spacious areas with original high beamed ceilings, stone walls and terracotta floors. Warm, sunny colours blend with antique, rustic and contemporary furnishings creating a charming and cozy atmosphere where quality is the trademark.
Large wooden doors lead us from the house’s private parking area into a stone-walled courtyard with a fountain ensconced amongst colourful plants and flowers, ideal for alfresco meals in summer and winter. French doors open in a spacious and sunny lounge with comfortable sofas anda woodburning stove. At one end of this room is a TV/video/DVD and music area, with bookshelves filled with a wide selection of multilingual books, videos and board games for all ages and interests.
The colourful and rustic styled kitchen is fully equippped with state of the art appliances to meet all culinary needs. An open archway connects the kitchen with an open plan area that is comfortable divided in to a cosy lounge with its eye-catching modern fireplace set against the backdrop of stone walls, and a dining room with seating for 8 people. An original pillar divides this area from the main hallway where impressive wooden doors open towards the village.
A terracotta stairway leads upstaris to the first floor where four ample double en-suite bedrooms are located. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and share a secluded terrace with mountain views. The other two have twin beds and overlook the village. All bedrooms and bathrooms are decorated and furnished to the highest standards with a careful selection of quailty bed and bath linen.
The house has a modern, electrical central heating system, air-conditioning units in all bedrooms and a smoke detector system throughout. Free ADSL internet access is also provided.
From the courtyard a flight of steps leads up to the landscaped garden with its large ,private swimming pool that can be floodlit at night. There is a covered porch with outdoor furniture, sunloungers and umbrellas and a large BBQ for outdoor meals. Adjacent to the garden is our ecological fruit orchard where tangerines, lemons, avocados, loquats etc can be picked in season. At any time of day or night our guests can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the valley and mountains, while enjoying the tranquillity of the place.

Located on the edge of the village of Benimeli, this country villa is only a few minutes walk from the main square which boasts a cultural centre, bar/restaurant serving homecooked meals, a grocery store and bakery. The village’s infrastructure is sufficient to meet the needs of both visitors and residents. It is only 4 Kms from Orba which has many restaurants, shops, banks, etc. Strategically situated, its ideal location allows visitors the best of two worlds: the tranquillity of rural village life yet easy access to many places of interest or coastal resorts such as Denia or Javea with more activity.
Xaymaca forms part of the small family run business, Mediterraneo Rural, which also offers a charming country cottage, El Sequer, (for 4 people) located 200m from Xaymaca, but completely independent..
The owners, Jenny & Oswaldo, personnaly meet & greet you to show & explain the property and are at your disposal, in a discreet manner, to provide any information you may require during your stay. They will happily make restaurant , sport activity or cultural event reservations for their guests, organize wine tastings, gastronomic routes, etc. Attentive but not intrusive, their aim is to provide a memorable holiday setting where their guests will immediately feel "at home away from home".

Within a 8-30 Km radius there are: 3 championship golf courses (Oliva Nova, La Sella , Javea), 3 Nature parks (Montgó, Marjal de Pego & the Peñón de Ifach), as well as a Safari Park (6Km). Excellent beaches for swimming, windsurfing, sailing (10 Km); horseriding, tennis, cycling and nearby mountain trails for walking, hiking or climbing. Benidorm’s theme parks are only 30 mins away.
Valencia and Alicante airports are both 90Kms .
Prehistoric caves (6Km), Moorish castles, museums, crafts, flea and antique markets, wine cellars, some of the many attractions in the area.
In the neighbouring valley, Jalon and Parcent are home to well known wineries (bodegas) can be visited and internationally acclaimed wines can be tasted.
This area of the Valencian Region (known as the Marina Alta) is famous for its gastronomy with a wide range of restaurants, from Michelin star to local tascas with dishes to suit all tastes. Many of these are within a 10 - 15 Km radiius from Benimeli.

In Xaymaca, a cleaning service and linen change is provided once a week. Extra cleaning or babysitting services can be provided upon request.
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted with our “welcome basket” which includes seasonal fruit, drinks, wine, bread, butter, tea, coffee, etc. to help you recover from your journey. The owners take care of pool and garden maintenance and are at your disposal to provide ample information and maps about the area.
