THE COMPLEX
The complex is called Vista Bahía:View of the Bay and is a luxury residential complex.

Casa Millis is among golf courses and beaches, on the picturesque Coast of Casares.
The complex is formed by 140 apartments whose architectural design is of a typical Andalusian village.
From the complex you can enjoy panoramic views of the coast, the Rock of Gibraltar, and even Africa!
A beautiful environment surrounded with beaches, golf courses, marinas and commercial areas.
CASARES PLAYA is a new resort, close to the airports of Gibraltar (approx 20mins) and Malaga (approx 55mins) and has a completely upgraded and integrated highway network.
An up and coming area known as "The New Golden Mile".




THE APARTMENT

The apartment is positioned ten steps away from the pools...literally! It is on the ground floor and has air-conditioning/ heating and marble floors throughout. It has its own allocated parking space - perfect if you have a hire car.

It has a fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, toaster, microwave , iron etc. Basically everything you need for your stay - a perfect home from home.

There are two bedrooms, both with their own full bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, hand basin and bidet - towels are provided but please do not take these out of the apartment.

The master bedroom is fitted with a double bed; the second bedroom has two single beds, which can be pushed together to make a double if required. Both have fitted robes , mirrors, bedside tables with lamps and a chest of drawers .

The lounge has a double sofa bed, TV and DVD player (we do not have satellite tv at present so if you enjoy watching films, we would recommend you bring some DVDs with you.

The apartment has a large terrace, which is partly covered. It gets the sun all day long and has a partial sea view too!! It has a wrought iron table and chairs for dining al fresco!

Please note that although the apartment is only 600m away from the beach, this walk is up a hill. Therefore it is not ideal for the less mobile.

As the resort is still quite new, a car is recommended in order to get around and to collect your groceries etc although when you book your holiday, you can request a welcome pack for your arrival... perfect if you are arriving late when the shops are shut! Please email us for details and prices of our different welcome packs. However there is a shop at the local garage at the bottom of the road, which sells most things if you are arriving during the day .

The nearest supermarkets are in Sabanillas and Puerto de la Duquesa - both just less than a mile away. This is also where you will find some lovely restaurants and bars.

The prices advertised include cleaning on the day of departure. The apartment will be cleaned thoroughly before your arrival too. However, cleaning products are kept in the apartment should you wish to use them during your stay.

We can also organise airport pickups through our management company although the price of car hire would work out about the same as the airport pickup, so if you can drive, car hire does work out cheaper.
Airport collection is 85 euros before 6pm and 100 euros after 6pm. These prices are based on your flight landing at Malaga.

(PLEASE NOTE: There will be a local charge if you will be arriving during unsociable hours I.e. before 9am and after 6pm there will be a 5EUR per hour charge).

We will do our best to make sure your stay is an enjoyable and memorable one, so please ask if you would like us to try and arrange anything else for you.

Please also make sure you tell us if you are celebrating an anniversary, birthday etc.

Flights are available to Gibraltar (20 mins away) with Monarch and British Airways.

Flights are available to Malaga with various airlines. The cheapest tend to be Monarch, Jet2.com, BMI Baby, First Choice and Thomas Cook.

We are more than happy to search for flights for you, if you do not have access to the internet (or do not have time!)

It is recommended that you book your flights early as you will get them a lot cheaper. Try registering for email offers with the above flight companies so that you dont miss out on some fantastic deals. We have booked some return flights for this year...one with BA for £69 and one with BMI Baby for just £49!!!!

Casares White Village (Pueblo Blanco)

Casares is a picture postcard village with a population of just three thousand.
To say that Casares is beautiful is an understatement. Most of the white villages are beautiful but there is something very special about the sight of Casares that causes the visitor to park the car and simply stare or take a photo.

There are the sugar cubes again, piled precariously high and just nudging the battlements of an Arab castle. It is hard to believe that this enchanting, typical village is only nine miles from the hustle and bustle of the coast and somehow succeeded in avoiding the coach tour circuit.
It is best to approach the village for the first time when driving from the coast road (N340/A7) by turning inland at Km. 147 (between Estepona and Sabinillas) near Torre de la Sal and head inland for 15 km. The scenery is picturesque, so take your time. Suddenly you turn a bend in the road, and are treated to a spectacular view of the village with its medieval fortress.

"Reviewing: Casa Millis (Property Ref: 11046)
Just arrived home from Casa Millis and had a lovely relaxed break. The apartment was spot on, very modern, just as described, ample for four people and we spent a lot of time there just chilling on the terrace. Maybe for 6 people it would be a bit crowded but fine to use as a base and get out and about. The welcome pack was welcome indeed with wine and lager along with the essentials. We arrived around 1am Sat night and found that all the supermarkets were closed on Sunday but the garage down the road had ample supplies. The pool was right out the back of the apartment and was really well kept and had the sun on all day, though the water was chilly! The area was very quiet while we were there (June) but the World Cup had just started which maybe had some influence? This was not a problem to us as we went for a get away from it all break and that is what we got. Sabinillas and Puerto de la Duquesa were very laid back and not at all commercial which was a great change from some of the "british type resorts". You could maybe get away without a car but we hired one and it made life much easier. Caseras Old Town and Manilva Village were a delight to see and Estepona beachfront was pretty too. The information supplied on the website is very accurate and helpful and I would recommend Casa Millis and Manilva to anyone wanting a relaxed, good value for money holiday away from the hustle and bustle. I would certainly look to go back in the future. A great holiday thanks."


Sept 05 - Mr D Jerome
First thing ive got to say about this apartment is it’s a lot bigger than it looks on the pics!

I was really surprised when I got there!

Stayed there for a week in September with lovely weather and peaceful surroundings.

The beach is about 5 mins down the road and id defiantly recommend the beach bar down there for ice cold beers on them hot days and hot food in the evenings!.

The complex looked completely brand new when we stayed there! (to be honest I think we were one of the first people in this apartment!)

The 2 pools are literally right outside the apartment and the area is very clean and tidy!

Hoping to go again this year, would defiantly recommend to anyone!!


Sept 05 - Mr G Sangster
The agents working for the owners of the apartment were wonderful. They helped us no end and were always available, night or day for anything we needed!

When we arrived at the apartment, we found it to be immaculate. It was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities that you would expect at home, including washer and dishwasher.

The bedrooms were large and comfortable.

On our first morning, we used the patio. The table and chairs gave us somewhere to sit and enjoy the fabulous weather, as did the sun loungers. The patio area is large.

We found our way round quite quickly. We had hired a car which we feel is a must where the apartment is situated. The beach is in walking distance albeit not a stones throw away. There are plenty of supermarkets where we could restock and banks to get cash but you would need to drive to them. All in all there are a lot of amenities which are close by.

In the evening, there was little to do close by and we had to drive. We found a little harbour less than a mile away which had lots of bars and restaurants and we went there most evenings. Weekend was good but it did get quieter through the week. We got taxis back which were reasonable (around 10 euros). The taxis used a queuing system as with in the UK but we were never quite sure whether 1 was going to come!

Other evenings, we visited Puerto Buenus which was fantastic. It was quite a drive (approx 50 kms) but a return taxi was only 33 euros which we thought was very good.

Overall, the apartment was great. Where it was situated and the amenities were exactly as described when we first looked at visiting it. It certainly made a fantastic place to stop for our holiday, it cannot be faulted for anything and our comments were made, knowing that the apartment is very new and some things still need a little attention. We would certainly have no hesitations in going back. A lot of good memories were made right there in that apartment!!
