Description: |
This newly built two bedroom apartment with private roof top terrace is located within walking distance of the local beach; The Mar Menor. Being South facing it has the benefit of the sun for the majority of the day. The Mar Menor sea is an extremely warm salt-water lagoon, where the average summer time temperature is 26°C. there is a beach side bar where you can also enjoy the delights of eating Tapas and enjoying a drink on the idyllic setting. These waters are very calm (wave-free due to sea entry) and shallow; this makes them ideal for small children and adults alike. Along the beach you will find Therapeutic Mud Banks, renowned for their healing properties. They are especially suitable for rheumatism, treating bones and skin ailments. The use of the Mud banks is completely free. There is also a new state of the art health spa on the complex offering various treatments.
This area is said to be one of the healthiest places to live with its micro climate. This provides approximately 320 days of sunshine a year.
The surrounding area is very flat and as a consequence it is excellent for walking and cycling (Bikes can be hired locally). Walk along the nature reserve to the beach with its vast array of migratory bird species including pink Flamingos that come to nest. This is a fantastic opportunity for bird watching. There is easy access to number of other unspoilt beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. San Pedro has all the charm of a Spanish town with its local customs. You can also snap up a bargain at the weekly Monday market.
The main attractions of San Pedro are concentrated around the beach and shore. Here you will find Lo Pagán, a lively but traditional Spanish tourist centre that provides a wide range of holiday facilities, E.g. Hotels, Bars, Restaurants and Shops. The lively town of Torrevieja with its evening fair ground is not far away either.
Next to the long promenade facing the Mar Menor are extensive beaches such as La Puntica and Villananitos. This watery setting, combined with the facilities at the Marina, means that a huge selection of water sports are at your fingertips, including sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing.
This area is perfect for golfers as there are 3 championship courses within easy reach.
The Health Spa on the complex offers a variety of treatments from massage, gym and a number of pools with varying temeratures and whirl pools. The pools are rich with sea salt enabling you to float without any effort. A very relaxing experience!!

Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. 1 double sofa bed in the living room. Private roof top terrace & balcony with patio furniture and sun beds. Built in BBQ on the roof terrace. Bathroom, kitchen with Cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, ironing equipment etc, Radio/CD player. TV/DVD and sky. Built in Safe. Towels and linen (Including beach towels) are included. There is also a shower on the Roof Terrace to cool you down, should you wish to sun bathe in private.
A £50 security deposit is also required at the time of final payment which will be required 8 weeks prior to your departure.
