Description: |
Bungalow in Alicante – Costa Blanca, Spain: This is a modern villa that has been newly completed and is built and furnished to a high specification in a quiet area of La Marina urbanisation. There is large rooftop sun terrace overlooking the community pool, lemon groves and mountains. There are a number of commercial centres nearby which has all amenities (supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, newsagents, taxis and a National Health Clinic where English is spoken. Eating out is varied and inexpensive. The local beach is a beautiful safe Blue Flag sandy beach and is 8 mins drive down the road; there are bars and restaurants on the beach. Behind the beach are sandy dunes with a lovely wooded area suitable for picnics etc. A bus service is in operation in the summer months.
If you hire a car you will find yourself 20 minutes away from Alicante airport and 50 minutes away from Murcia Airport. Guardamar is approx. 10 mins drive and Torrevieja about 20 mins drive. In under an hour you can be in Benidorm at the new Terra Mitica Theme Park (lots of rides and restaurants. For Golf lovers, the closest course to La Marina is La Marquesa which is situated at Rojales about 5 miles away which is less than 8 minutes drive. Las Ramblas and Villamartin golf courses are within a 25 minutes drive and for the serious golfer La Manga is only 45 minutes away. Golf courses can be busy so it is worth reserving tee times well in advance.
If you prefer the mountains there are numerous villages, and scenic routes which are waiting to be explored inland. Local activities also include Tennis; Bowls, Ko-Karting and many more......
