Description: |
Our apartment at ‘Atalyas de Riviera’ is situated on the hillside at Calahonda, looking out over the water-fall featured swimming pool and with views out to the Mediterranean Sea.
This lovely two bed-room air conditioned ground floor apartment (4 people maximum) has been furnished to a very high standard, with co-ordinated furniture, furnishings and fixtures throughout. It reflects our own particular high standards and represents an apartment that we would want to rent and stay in.
This is a secure gated complex with underground car parking and four different sized pools for your enjoyment – all with toilets and showers.
Our apartment consists of a through lounge / dining area, with lounge and dining seating for 4 people, with two double patio doors leading out onto the shaded patio and garden area, complete with patio furniture and sun loungers.
The lounge area also has colour TV, DVD and music system, and is equipped with a selection of DVD’s, books, board games, maps and plenty of information sheets on the local area.
The master bedroom is fitted with double bed and built in wardrobes, and has its own en suite bathroom (bath, shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet). The second bedroom is fitted with twin beds, built in wardrobes and also has its own en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet).
A fully fitted kitchen is provided complete with fridge/freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer – and all the gadgets and culinary items you would expect to find in your own kitchen at home.
Atalayas de Riviera is ideally placed for all amenities, with supermarkets, mini-markets, restaurants, bars, tennis courts, medical centre, banks & ATM machines all within easy distance.
A little further a field (10 minutes by car) is the very beautiful Puerto de Cabopino together with peaceful marina, beautiful beaches, and recommended restaurants and bars.
Conveniently located for many places of interest, this mainly English speaking community is ideal for families, golfers, out door enthusiasts, those seeking peace and quiet, and others who prefer the Spanish night life.
Calahonda, and this immediate part of the coast, is not a prime tourist area; you will not find any large or high rise hotels or miles of crowded beaches. Instead you will find a quality area, mainly with private villa’s and apartments, beautiful pines and dune backed beaches fronting expensive private villas and good value, high quality restaurants and eating places.
Calahonda is in the middle of the ‘Costa del Golf’ (as it is known locally) and for the golfers amongst you there are more than 30 golf course within easy reach – one of them just ten minutes walk away, two more just five minutes car drive away. This is the home of the world famous Valderrama, scene of the great Europen Ryder Cup triumph in 1997; of La Cala, Marbella Club, Cabopino and Miraflores Golf Clubs.
For those of you who want to venture further, many well known and beautiful cities, villages and attractions are within two hours drive of our apartment, including:
Ronda – Gibraltar – Marbella – Granada – The White Mountain villages of Istan, Ojen, Coin and Mijas; and Malaga – not just an airport or an entrance / exit point from Spain! Seville and Cordoba are also well within travelling distance.
Atalayas de Riviera is only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport on the new toll motorway that takes you straight to Calahonda and virtually right outside our door.
To sum up, a well appointed superior apartment in an exclusive private community and in an excellent and convienient location.
