Bought new and furnished as our home our apartment is 25km, a 30-minute drive, west of Málaga airport. It is in a well run and maintained block with a lovely garden and pool in a quiet area not far from the centre of Fuengirola and is ideal for family or friends. The apartment has a comfortably furnished lounge/dining room and terrace with magnificent views towards Mijas. There is a well equipped kitchen and a bathroom. There is one double and one twin bedroom and a folding bed should there be a fifth person

EASY LIFESTYLE
The apartment is situated to the west towards Fuengirola’s Sohail Castle and, as the entire town is quite flat, this makes for an easy stroll to the beaches or centre. Within 500m there are many bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Indeed the whole area is well served by a wide variety of shops, banks, friendly bars and popular restaurants. Medical facilities are just across the road. Fuengirola town centre is just 10 minutes walk away and it has all the amenities you would expect of a busy holiday resort.

The inviting waters of the Mediterranean and lovely sandy beaches are a few minutes walk away, or perhaps you would prefer the garden and pool (which includes a children’s pool) just downstairs. Temperatures in the high 20s and almost uninterrupted sunshine are the norm for the summer months. Even in the winter it is almost invariably much warmer than the UK.

EXPLORE A LITTLE
If you become bored with taking the sun why not board the excellent, and cheap, train service into historic Málaga city. Stop off at Torremolinos if you wish. Take the local bus to Mijas Pueblo – you can see the village from the apartment terrace – and visit the donkeys there. If you have chosen to hire a car why not drive into the countryside and visit some of the many small villages in the area? Try their shops and bars – it’s a different world! The historic city of Gibraltar is an hour’s drive away, passing the millionaire playgrounds of Marbella and Puerto Banus on the way.

ACTIVITIES
If you are a more energetic holidaymaker seeking a lively and active Spanish holiday experience the beach and many water sports are within walking distance, or you could visit some of the many first class golf courses in the area.

The whole area provides the ingredients for the perfect break. The Costa del Sol is popular with Spanish and foreign visitors alike so whatever your taste, whatever your needs, it’s all here

Taxis from Málaga airport cost in the region of €35 (about £25) – ask the cabbie first. We can provide directions for him in Spanish. There is an excellent train service from the airport to Fuengirola centre and local taxis are available at the station

Notes
The Apartment is on the fifth floor of a very well maintained and secure block with lovely garden and pools. It is served by two lifts. Enter into a small hall with the kitchen and lounge off.

The Kitchen is fully fitted and has lots of cupboards. The washing machine, drying area and toaster are on the kitchen terrace.

The Lounge/Dining Room is comfortably furnished with a large dining table and chairs. It opens onto a good-sized terrace with a further dining table and chairs and a beautiful mountain view

The Bedrooms. One has a double bed and the other has two singles. There is an additional folding bed that may be used if necessary. Should you have small children there is a travel cot and a high chair.

General - Both bedrooms have a fitted wardrobe, mirror, bedside cabinets and lamps. The bathroom is fully fitted and tiled with mirror and shaving point. For winter evenings there is an electric panel heater and a gas fire in the lounge. For your piece of mind a carbon monoxide detector is fitted and there is a smoke detector, so don’t burn the toast!
