Description: |
Los abanicos is a small luxury development of 40 Semi-Detached Villas of a unique fan shaped design. Each Villa has its own private courtyard, complete with tables and chairs for al fresco dining, and your own 5 seater Nordic Crown hot tub for relaxing in with a glass of vino after a hard day on the beach. The roof-top Solarium covers the entire area of the villa, and enjoys magnificent panoramic views, both seaward over Isla Los Lobos and Lanzarote, and inland to the mountains and the Parque Natural and sand dunes. The accomadation comprises: 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with 2 singles. There is also a sofa-bed in the lounge. The large bathroom is between the two bedrooms. The Lounge/dining area includes a well equipped American style kitchen. Los Abanicos has two outdoor communal pools, one for the adults and one for the children. There is also a childrens play area. The complex is secure and gated, with off road secure parking.
The on site Restaurant and Bar/Cafe are now ( June 07) fully operational, with views over to Lanzarote from the outside terraced area. From recent reports received, the food and service are excellent.

The harbour town of Corralejo, which is a favourite with the British holiday-makers, and is situated on the northern tip of the island, is only a fifteen minute walk, or a 3 minute drive, from the apartments. The beautiful beaches and Sand-dunes of La Oliva about the same distance.A car is not essential but should you wish to gain the full picture of this beautiful island, with its many fishing villages and towns it is highly recommended. The beautiful beaches of Corralejo and La Oliva are some of the finest white sand beaches in Europe, and the sea has that torquoise appearence like the Carrabean. There are numerous bars and restaurants between the Villa and Corralejo, serving all manner of cuisines. Live entertainment is provided nightly in the the town Plaza. The shopping is superb with all the usual favourites and many others. Los Abanicos is only 15 minutes walk to the new "Baku Village" Water Park, and about 10 mins to the new outdoor sports centre. |
