A modern villa with a rustic charm set in the beautiful Andalusian countryside, a tranquil location on the hill of the eagle. It has stunning views of the Sierra Tejada and Mount Maroma. Positioned amongst almond trees and overlooking olive groves. The large private pool 10m x 5m, caters for serious swimmers and sun worshipers alike.

Casa Marie has easy access and plenty of parking space. Sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedded room (both with ceiling fans), There is a family shower room and a comfortable lounge, with a 3 and 2 seater sofas. It has satellite TV, video, dvd & cd/radio.
The kitchen area has a gas oven with hob,a microwave, a fridge freezer, a washing machine. Fully equiped with, an electric kettle, toaster and all crockery, glassware and pans you are likely to need. Bed linen, bath towels & tea towels are provided (note beach towels are not) Other essentials such as an iron & ironing board and a hair dryer are also provided. Outside there is a gas barbeque, a shaded patio. seating and sun loungers.

Casa Marie will give an ideal base for sightseeing, country walking and bird watching, set as it is close to a number of national parks. The central location and good roads mean Malaga, Granada & Cordoba are all within easy reach. The coast is also within an easy drive, such as Torre del Mar, only 40 mins door to beach, past the lovely lake Vinuela. The motorway system means that Nerja is only 45 mins to the east and Fuengirola only 45 mins to the west. Allowing access to golf courses and water sports aplenty.

Located on the road from Colmenar to Alfarnate with good access only 30 minutes from Malaga Airport. Colmenar village the capital of the Axarquia region has a typical Spanish flavour. It offers all the necessary amenities: banks, mini supermarkets, bakers, butchers, hotels and tapas bars. It has a 24 hour medical centre and chemist. Thursday is village market day. Taxi’s are available and the bus service to Malaga is frequent and inexpensive, but we would suggest a car is essential.
