Description: |
The villa was built in 2005 and is set within an orchard garden providing the natural shade of various fruit trees. The property is enclosed within its own walls, with parking for 3-4 cars, and is not overlooked. Wrought iron railings separate front and back lawns so that young children only use the private swimming pool (7m x 4m) when supervised. The pool is heated and covered so you can swim most of the year. It has "roman steps " at one end to enable small children to enjoy supervised sitting and paddling. For leisurely lunches and dinners there is a feature barbecue and a rustic pergola with a large family table on a paved area. You can breakfast in the sun on the sheltered front porch. A king sized bed is provided in the main bedroom and the other three have two single beds which in one case can be put together to form a double. Equipment includes travel cot, high chair, satellite TV, CD player and the kitchen has cooker, fridge-freeze, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
Situated in a quiet residential country area just outside of the old town of Chiclana de la Frontera, the villa is only a short drive from a choice of beautiful sandy beaches. The seaside resorts of Conil and La Barrossa are still relatively undeveloped. Traditional white Spanish villages of Medina Sidonia and Vejer are close by. A 20 minute drive brings you to Cadiz, once the richest city of Spain and steeped in history. CapeTrafalgar, the site of the famous battle, is just a few miles down the coast. Jerez - home of sherry, dancing horses and flamenco is just 30 minutes away or take a day trip to Seville (by train), Gibraltar or by boat to the Donana National Park. There is a local shop and bar and a supermarket, shops and restaurants within 5 minutes drive and a local bodega making red and white wine and an excellent Fino sherry.
Four golf courses catering for every standard of player are within 10 minutes with a further 4 championship courses within 30 minutes drive. The many other things to do include horse riding, cycling, bird watching and Karting. Spaniards from Madrid and Seville holiday here because the climate is the best in Spain with cooling ocean breezes and the sunsets on the beaches are second to none.
Economy flights serve Jerez (40 minutes drive), Seville (90 minutes), Gibraltar (90minutes) and Malaga (150 minutes).
