Description: |
Downstairs you will find a living room and dining area, which is decorated in a fresh modern style. On the lower level there is also a fully fitted kitchen and shower room and upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Generous terraces allow you to find sun and shade at all hours of the day. Leading off from the kitchen is a small terrace ideal for having breakfast. There is a large roof terrace, which offers a stunning view of the Port with the pine-clad Tramuntana mountain range in the background. In between the 2 aforementioned terraces there is a 3rd, ideal for “just relaxing in the sun ! ”
The house is fully equipped with five permanent beds and the possibility of one extra. Linen and towels are included but guests are requested to provide their own beach towels. The fully furnished and well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, washing machine etc makes sure your stay is comfortable with that “home from home” feeling. In the living room you will find a TV, DVD, video and stereo for your pleasure. Facilities for the terraces such as tables, chairs, sun loungers and sunshades are well provided. The house has air conditioning/heater on the upper floor and electrical heaters downstairs which makes it ideal for both summer and winter lets alike.
Port de Soller is a charming beach resort with a lively port with activity all year round. It is located on the north-west coast of Mallorca and is the only natural harbour on this mountainous coast- a place full of colour and character, famous for its wonderful nature and trekking possibilities.
The location of the house, close to the harbour front and at the very heart of Port Soller, offers a comfortable closeness to all kinds of services, but still within the seclusion of a residential area. This property is ideal for those of you who prefer not to have to drive as it is so near to all the local amenities, however for those of you who do arrive by car there is a public car park close by.
Within a 5-minute walk from the house you can find a number of good restaurants, banks, pharmacy, as well as several supermarkets for buying your daily necessities. Here you find the main tram stop which runs between the port and the nearby village, buses to places such as Palma and Pollensa, a marina for pleasure boats and a pier for boat excursions such as Sa Calobra and Torrent de Pareis.
If you are longing for a swim there is a small sandy beach area within some 200m. A larger sandy beach is found a bit further off across the horse-shoe shaped bay, but still within walking distance and this area has been pedestrianised which makes it ideal for families. Diving facilities are available in the port. If instead, you like trekking, just jump into your walking boots and you are up in the mountains in no time. In short – this is a perfect base for either an exciting or relaxing vacation…….. whichever you prefer !
