APPARTMENT: This new apartment is set in a very secure exclusive development of 34 apartments. A short walk from the main square. There are 2 bedrooms plus a sofabed in the aircon lounge. We also have for your relaxation at the end of the busy day Sky tv, with many English channels. The bathroom is fully equipped including bath shower and bidet. There is a small balcony off the lounge area. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, fidge freezer, toaster, etc. All the comforts of home. The air conditioning in the summer, is also able to give heat in the chilly winter month evenings. There are two free standing fans for the summer months, and also two electric radiators for the colder months.

The apartment block has secure entry and many of the apartments are owned by English speaking people who are resident.

There is a private roof solarium with table, chairs and loungers to help you enjoy the 360 degree views of the village and the surrounding countryside with a clear view of La Finca golf course and the mountains, and the orange and lemon groves. The pergola on a small area of the solarium gives shade in the very hot months. Leaving plenty of room for people who prefer to be in the sun.

ALGORFA: Is a beautiful Spanish village with a very small mix of English residents. It has a small square with a lovely fountain, and bars, cafes, restaurants, bank, pharmacy, small Spanish supermarket and butches, bakers and varous other small shops dotted around the centre. The bars are all child friendly. On a Sunday morning there is a large typical Spanish market on the outskirts of the village. For those who like to keep in touch there is a paper shop which sells English papers. The village is surrounded by orange and lemon groves and not far from some spectacular mountains. There is also a municipal park for children, with an even larger swimming pool, childrens play area, tennis, basketball and football.

Flexible arrival and departure dates are available to allow you to take advantage of cheaper midweek flights from your local airport. A car would be desirable to take advantage of the nearby amenaties. However airport pickup/returns by good value taxi can be arranged by request.

SURROUNDING AREA: La Finca Golf course is only 5 mins drive and is currently 18 holes, but expanding to accommodate the PGA Ryder Cup in 2010, it also has its own exit of the A7 Motorway. There are several other golf courses within easy drive such as Villamartin, Los Ramblas, Campoamor, Quesada and La-Mar-Quesa. In fact the area is fast starting to be known as the Golf Coast with 15 championship golf courses located between Alicante and La Manga and a further 10 in the planning states, so visitors are guaranteed excellent golf.

Both Alicante and Murcia are only just over 30 mins drive. The blue flag beaches of Guardamar are only 15 mins away. This beach is recommended in the Eye Witness Guides, as being one of the best and quietest on the Costa Blanca. Guardamar also has a superb large Wednesday market, and the market on a Saturday morning is the famous mile long market along Flamenco beach. Alicante is a busy city with excellent shopping and a varied nightlife, with the restaurants centralised and a pleasant port in which to sit and relax. There are many Spanish resturants within the area but also Chinese, Indian and also American fast food are available a short drive from Algorfa.

The city of Torrevieja is only 15/20 mins drive there are many shops, banks and also a Casino. This is a very busy city on the sea front you can sit in the bars and watch the world go by. It also has for the children a water park for an action packed day out.

There are many places to walk and cycle, the climate has average temp of 16 degrees in Feb and 32 in July. An average of 320 days of sunshine a year, makes the area climate ideal for those wishing to escape the English weather.

Haberneras is on the outskirts of Torrevieja, which is a major shopping centre, with prices significantly cheaper than the UK. Here also there are many types of restaurants and bars.
