Description: |
The Mediterranean Spanish/French coastline is one of the most beautiful and remarkable sceneries in the world. Here 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) south of the boarder, along the wild and rugged rocky coast is Roses located.
The building DELFIN is located 1,5 kilometre (0.9 mile) from the city directly to the Mediterranean Sea. Our flat is located on the side of the second building towards the sea. From the sitting room, the balcony and from the master bedroom a magnificent panoramic view to the Mediterranean is right in front of your eyes.
The flat holds two bedrooms with one king bed each, a sitting room with a bed-settee, kitchen and bath room with a shower and a bathtub. Furthermore the flat holds a TV set (French and Spanish channels), various electrical cooking facilities, vacuum cleaner and a laundry machine.
A typical day could start with a jump from the rocks into the crystal clear ocean or a swim in the domestic pool (shown in the picture).
There is 500 meters (546 yards) to the nearest sandy beach. From the city centre and many, many kilometres south, there are sandy beaches as long as your eyes can reach.
There are plenty of opportunities for hiking in the beautiful hills or the paths along the coast, all with the wonderful view over the sea and the rugged Pyrenees, or just walking along the several kilometres’ long promenade with its beautiful tiles (ideal for roller-skating).
Also diving is possible, either on your own or by joining one of the many diving-centres or by going out with one of the diving-boats departing several times a day from the harbour.
Opportunities for cultural elements during your vacation are really good in this area. In the city of Roses you will find a huge ruined castle. 17 kilometres (10.5 miles) from Roses you find the city of Cadaques, where Salvador Dali lived and painted a lot of his works. Don’t miss the Dali museum in Figures 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) from Roses. Approximately 20 kilometres (6 miles) south of Roses, right north of l’Escala is an exhibition of excavated cities build by ancient Greeks and Romans as well. Or you can choose to drive along one of the worlds most scenery routes, the 40 kilometres (25 miles) to the French boarder.
Nightlife opportunities are multiple. A lot of nice restaurants, bars and discotheques are found in the city and along the promenade.
