Description: |
Casa Diasol is situated in a prestigous private complex. Closeby is a double/communial pool which is well maintained & has a private bar area, showers/tennis courts and safe play areas for children.There is also a well stocked supermarket & restaurant on site. The apartment itself is has 1 double bedroom, good size en suite with bath/shower, spacious fully fitted kitchen with washing machine fridge/freezer small oven and gas hob. Large lounge/diner, It also has the benefit of full air conditioning & has recently been re-furbished. The lounge area has with twin settees which double up as single beds. Outside there is larger than average balcony (with sunshade for very hot days) where where you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the mountains.

The adjoining village of Benitachell, only 5 minutes, is a quaint Spanish village with an imposing central church and is renowned for all the many fiesta held throughout the year.
Moraira, is only 5km away, with both sandy beaches and rocky coves. In more recent times this quiet and peaceful fishing port has become a busy yet pleasant resort. There are no high-rises, no large hotels, no package tours, and no large and noisy nightclubs. It is a small yet busy town with many shops, restaurants and bars and hosts a excellent weekly market. Moraira has four beaches, each very different. The beach of El Portet being situated at the end of a sheltered shell-shaped bay, ideal and safe for swimming. The town beach, or Lampolla, is a large sandy beach with a play area and restaurants. Platgetes is quieter and partly sand/partly rock; and LAndrago is a boulder beach, ideal for snorkelling.There are many secluded bays and coves well worth exploring. Closeby in benidorm there is the Aqualandia water park & fun fair Terra Mitica. If you enjoy walking & are reasonably fit, look up Costa Blanca mountain walker in saturdays local news for meets Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca, and lies in a bay, on the South Eastern coast of Spain, between the larger resorts of Javea and Calpe, the surrounding area has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, with beautiful and.unspoilt scenery and many small villages to explore. There are also some larger resorts nearby that are easily reached by car that are well worth visiting: Javea, Calpe, Denia and Altea are all within 15km, while Benidorm is about 30km away. Moraira enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with cool sea breezes in summer and protection by surrounding mountains against the cold North winds in winter. The area averages nearly 3,000 hours of sunshine each year and the average temperature easily exceeds 20 degrees. In 1986 the World Health Organisation recommended the climate of the area as one of the most equitable in the world - neither too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. On average it can boast 325 sunny days each year making it an ideal all year round destination. Once a sleepy fishing village, Moraira has grown into a small yet charming and picturesque town It is now an attractive holiday and retirement resort retaining its considerable charm that attracts visitors from all over Europe and is particularly popular with Spanish from Madrid and Valencia. It has an impressive marina, excellent variety of local shops, weekly open markets, harbour-side fish restaurants and bars still retaining their Spanish character. The main hub of life is beside the pretty yacht marina offering a good selection of restaurants and bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. A charming square still retains much of the original character and atmosphere and is home to the local church. There are restaurants, bars and several interesting shops lining the narrow cobbled streets. In the high season, the town comes alive in the evenings with locals and visitors alike. This little town also has its own popular wide, gently shelving sandy beach with shallow waters and a smaller beach in the adjacent hamlet of El Portet. Both beaches were awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness and are safe for family bathing, both are also served by beach bars and restaurants which serve drinks, snacks and main meals. It is also well worth exploring the many other coves and bays along the coast with sand or sand/rock beaches. If you like open markets then, apart from the weekly Friday market held next to the beach, you could plan a visit to the various markets held at nearby resorts for each day of the week! Apart from the buzzing activity you would see cheap fresh fruit and vegetables, local specialities, herbs and spices, leather goods, clothes, rugs, fresh and silk flowers, souvenirs, pottery and a whole variety of other goods. There are many places of interest to see on day excursions, apart from the other coastal resorts of Javea, Calpe, Denia, Altea, Benidorm, Villajoyosa and Alicante there is also the spectacular scenery to see inland including the wonderful mountain-top fortress of Guadalest, the Vergal Safari Park near Denia, Europe’s largest palm forest at Elche and the ancient city of Murcia. Valencia (third largest city in Spain) is one and a half hours away and Barcelona (second largest) and the capital Madrid are four hours away, all reached by motorway.

Javea 7km, is a town of great beauty, magical landscapes, a haven of peace and serenity....a small, historic town ,free of high rise buildings. Javea old town is steeped in history, with tosca stone porticoes, gothic bay windows. The church of San Bartolemé in the town centre is an example of late gothic with a defensive character.The beautiful, sandy bay is planted with palm trees and has play areas for children. The bay is fringed by the promenade with its wonderful choice of bars and restaurants offering national and international specialities. Interesting shops and boutiques abound.
Closeby in Cumbre Del Sol there is a horse riding centre and tennis courts. Just 2.5 kms down the road to Javea is the 9 hole Javea golf course,or more challenging is the 18 hole course at La Sella (12 km away or the 18 hole course at Oliva Nova. At the La Sella course there is also a large tennis complex and health club/spa/casino facilities at the 5 star Marriott hotel.

Special notes 1. The above rates apply to 2 people sharing there is a £25 suppliment for each additional person per week.Nightly prices available on request. Bookings over 7 nights & less than 11 subject to additional charges. Cot available £25 High chair £5.50 weekly.
2. A 25% non refundable deposit will be required within 7 days of booking.
3. The balance will be payable no later than 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday, along with a £100 refundable breakages deposit. This will be refunded by post after a satisfactory inspection at the end of your holiday. If it is a late booking – within 6 weeks of commencement the total cost + breakages deposit will be due in full immediately.
4. Directions & instructions for access will be sent out or forwarded by email once payment has cleared
5. In the event of any damage occurring, any balance of the refund will only be paid following any repairs or replacements have been carried out. Guests will be provided with a receipt for any such costs.
6. The Apartment will be cleaned along with fresh bed linen and towels ready for your Arrival
