Our apartment is part of “Residencial Fontana 11” on the edge of the village of Algorfa, a quiet village surrounded by lemon groves but only 12 Km from the beautiful safe beaches of Guadamar del Segura, and 15 Km from the very Spanish city of Orihuela.
The airports of Alicante and Murcia (San Javier) are both within a 45 minute drive, and the bustling resort of Torrevieja is only 20 minutes away with its many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping centres, port and marina.
Algorfa itself is a quiet village with a lovely square where many events take place throughout the year. There are a variety of bars, both Spanish and British, restaurants and café bars within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Algorfa boasts 2 supermarkets, (one English), several bread shops, a shoe shop (shoes are made in Algorfa), gift shops and butchers to mention just a few.
Our apartment is 5 minutes from La Finca golf course, one of the finest courses on the Costa Blanca, with 3 other great courses within 20 minutes, and several others within 35 minutes, so the keen golfer is spoilt for choice.
Even closer, right next to “Fontana 11” is a children’s play area, part of the municipal sporting complex which includes and open air swimming pool, football and basketball facilities and various courts.
Our apartment is situated on the ground floor, ideal for young families with no stairs to climb and no balconies for children to climb on and fall from. It consists of one double and one twin bedroom, both with built-in wardrobes, bedside tables, chests of drawers and ceiling fans. The bathroom is fitted to a high standard with both bath and shower. The rest of the apartment is open plan with a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, diner with extending dining table and lounge area with a good sized sofabed, ceiling fan and satellite TV and. Patio doors lead from the lounge to the very large terrace with its patio table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is also a utility room complete with washing machine, iron and ironing board. The communal pool is 10m from the apartment.
The Fontana 11 complex is gated for security, and the apartment comes with a parking space in the underground car park with access directly into the complex via lifts and /or stairs.
