A stunning 3 bedroom luxurious holiday villa, with private pool, in Almeria, southern Spain. Located in typically rural surroundings, close to the traditional Spanish market town of Albox.

Vistas De Las Montanas is a fabulously modern luxury Spanish holiday villa with, as its name suggests, a spectacular panoramic mountain view. Furnished to the highest standard with its own Private Swimming Pool it sleeps 6 plus a baby (one travel cot provided).

It is the perfect holiday let for those looking for something a little bit special who are keen to see Traditional Spain.

The villa offers a large patio area, equipped with sun loungers and cushions for those lazy sunny days. A patio table with large umbrella which provides some respite from the sun during the day and at night is the perfect location for your evening meal.

The Private Swimming Pool has steps at the shallow end, an ideal seating area. It is 1 meter deep at the shallow end and 2 meters at the deep end with a poolside shower.There is also a shaded area terrace outside which overlooks the pool and the mountains for those bbq evenings where you can sit and relax after a day at the beach.

The roof top terrace is the perfect place to watch the stars on an evening and enjoy the sheer peace and tranquillity.

The villa consists of 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom (1 double bed) has an en-suite with a large walk in shower, plus baby cot if needed.

The second and third bedrooms consist of 2 single beds each. There is also another family bathroom. The kitchen is very modern and fully equipped to the highest standard with a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, microwave, George Forman grill, for all those healthy people, and a wide variety of pots and utensils; everything you could need and more in the kitchen. The lounge is very modern with leather sofas and a large dinning table and also a hifi so dont forget your cds. There is a television and a DVD player. All of the rooms have ceiling fans plus stand up fans in the bedrooms.(please expand the photo selection to see internal photos of the villa!!)

The Villa is home from home and the pool is cleaned weekly. There is also weekly linen and towel change and a welcome pack on arrival that can be tailored to suit your needs.

There is an Ironing Board and Iron, hairdryer, Safe.

Surrounding Area.Arboleas: is the closest pueblo to the villa. It has a delightful church "La Primitiva Iglesia de Arboleas " dating back to 1492. The narrow winding streets of this hill side retreat climb to a vantage point which affords a magnificant view of the Almanzora River valley, and the spurs of the Filabres Mountain range. The local area has a strong agricultural economy growing citrus, olive trees, almond trees and cereals such as wheat and barley.

Albox:This is the nearest town which is about a 5 minute drive from the villa.  It has a large Supermarket, Community Swimming Pool, Shops typically Spanish restaurants, banks, pharmacy, post office and news agents where English papers can be bought.  On Tuesdays there is a Spanish Market in the town.

Local Beaches. The local beaches are Mojacar, Garrucha and Vera about a 30-minute drive. These are typically Spanish, with many restaurants that cater for all cuisine. There is also a beach called San Juan, which is about 50 minutes away, but it is worth the drive because it is idyllic

Garrucha:Garrucha is very typically Spanish.  It has a small fishing port and a harbor where fish is caught daily for the many fish restaurants, worth a try.  It also has a very nice promenade and a small coved beach. On Fridays there is a market, which runs down most of the main streets.

Mojacar Playa:This is a lot larger than Garrucha and offers a more varied cuisine catering for Spanish and English. The beach runs for approx 5km, there are various bars and restaurants on the beachfront. Mojacar Old Town: is a white hill top village that overlooks the sea. This very picturesque village with its narrow streets and breathtaking views is well worth a visit with its little bars and cafes and restaurants tucked away. You can enjoy anything from tapas a tradition here, such as a slice of ham off the bone with fresh bread and a glass of beer, to a huge plate of paella or a three-course meal for a fraction of the price in England. Wander around the narrow streets covered in flowers and pot plants hanging everywhere, and if that isn’t enough go down to the Mojacar Playa that spreads along the waters edge where all facilities are available.Vera Town: is approx 20 minutes from the villa and has a bullring and a museum, shops and restaurants and bars.Vera Playa:The principal facility at Vera Playa is its superb naturist beach. The beach stretches approximately 7 kilometres, from just south of Villaricos down through Vera Playa itself, and on to Puerto Rey and Garrucha. More than two kilometres is officially naturist.  There is also a Water-Park with family day passes available (this is not at the naturist beach it is at Puerto Rey).

Aquilas
This is about a 50 minute drive and is well worth a visit.
It has a large Marina with many restaurants and bars. It also has a wonderful beach to the south of the town with a long promenade which also has many restaurants and bars. There is also a Large Shopping Precinct

Tabernas:About half an hours drive towards Almeria is Tabernas, which has a Mini Hollywood, which has live shows that you can take part in and also has a fabulous Zoo.Golf.There are 4 golf courses nearby like Desert Springs Golf Course and Valle De Este, which is probably one of the most beautiful Golf Courses in Spain. This is an ideal Villa for the Golf enthusiast, or for anyone who wants to see traditional Spain or laze around on those long sunny days around the pool.

Car Hire.A car is essential and they can be picked up from the 4 major airports, which are:
Almeria 1 Hour
Murcia 1 Hour 45
Alicante 1 Hour 45
Granada 2 Hours

Almeria is the best airport to use because it is the closest, but Murcia, Alicante and Granada are still fine airports because of the motorway access
