This lovely 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is located in the popular area of Altomar II in Gran Alacant, Costa Blanca, which is only 10 minutes south of Alicante airport (but not in the flight path!).
There are three communal swimming pools in landscaped gardens and a small complex of shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk. One of the swimming pools is approximately 20 yards from the apartment.
The beautiful Carabassi Beach is a 20 minute walk from the apartment. The Alicante and Santa Pola buses also pass by the beach.
APARTMENT DETAILS:
Terrace:
Patio table and chairs, and 2 sun loungers are provided.
There is also a BBQ for your use.
There are deck chairs and a beach umbrella also available.
Kitchen:
Fully fitted kitchen containing oven, hob, extractor fan, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster.
The kitchen is well equipped with all cooking utensils. An iron and ironing board is also supplied.
Living/Dining Room:
Comfortable and spacious living area with TV, DVD and Hi-Fi with CD player, radio and cassette.
A selection of books and board games are also provided.
There is a table and 4 chairs in the dining area, two 3-seater couches in the living room and a high chair.
Bedrooms:
Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, bedside tables and ceiling fans.
The main bedroom has a double bed and also a chest of drawers and a safe.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds.
Heaters are provided for winter.
There is also a travel cot, and a hairdryer.
Towels (excluding beach towels) and bed linen are provided.
Bathroom:
with bath, shower, washbasin, WC and bidet.
Cleaning & Additional Services:
Cleaning is carried out after each change over.
Additional cleaning can be arranged at an extra cost.

LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES:
Gran Alacant is situated on top of a hill, overlooking the coast, where there are miles of stunning blue flag beaches.
Santa Pola, traditionally a fishing town, is less than a 10 minute drive to the south, and Alicante is a 20 minute drive to the north of Gran Alacant.
Alicante airport is a convenient 10 minute drive away.
Gran Alacant is perfect for families, couples and those looking for a relaxing holiday, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy resort.
There are a good selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance from the apartment. There are also good supermarkets nearby, and an open air market every Thursday morning.
The Carabassi beach is the closest (20 minute walk), and the beach at Arenales del Sol is a further 10 minutes walk.
Carabassi is a beautiful, unspoilt, quiet and relaxing sandy beach.
Arenales del Sol is also a beautiful sandy beach. It has the addition of numerous restaurants and cafes, as it runs along the Spanish resort of Los Arenales.
Santa Pola is a typical Spanish fishing port, with a lively harbour area and a picturesque town square.
It has numerous blue flag beaches and an aquarium.
You can also take a half hour boat trip to Tabarca Island from Santa Pola.
The following water sports are available off the Costa Blanca coast: Windsurfing, sailing, swimming, fishing, jetskis and scuba diving.
The historic city of Alicante is a must see with its blue flag beach, excellent shopping, varied nightlife, and superb marina.
The marina area is the place to go in the evening with a wide variety of restaurants and clubs offering wonderful food and entertainment.
The Santa Barbara Castle is another place to visit in Alicante.
The area around Alicante has several fine golf courses, the closest being El Plantio and Bonalba, which are about 20 minutes drive away.
In Benidorm (about 40 minutes away) you can visit Aqualandia Water Park, Mundomar Animal Park and the Terra Mitica Theme Park.
There is a regular bus service from Gran Alacant to both Alicante and Santa Pola.
Transport links to the rest of Costa Blance (Benidorm, Valencia) and Spain (Barcelona, Madrid) are readily available from Alicante.
