A small selection of our reviews:
Review Submitted: October 5, 2010 Date of Stay: June 2010
We stayed in the apartment in June/July 2010.
The place is very relaxing and quiet, the surroundings beautiful and the house is very well furnished, clean, cozy and well equipped.
The surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling.
We ate out a couple of times in the village but because the location of the property is so stunning we cooked ourselves most evenings on the patio BBQ.
Most nights we just sat out and admired the lovely view.
The apartment was great - had everything we needed, Andy & Denise extremely helpful and friendly. Free use of the bikes and the Sat Nav. (very useful)
Really, we could have easily spent another week in Cantabria. There is so much to do. The beaches are very attractive and we all really enjoyed the mountains.
The village itself, Puente Viesgo, also has very interesting pre-historic caves to visit, and the seaside villages are charming.
If you are thinking of visiting Cantabria, we would highly recommend this accommodation, if it was possible we would give a rating of 10!.
Hosts were the best - highly recommended!!
We look forward to renting it again.

Many thanks for the good services and hospitality you gave us. The apartment was very nice and had everything we needed. We have enjoyed the advise for trips, the use of the bikes and our nice talks together. All the best for you in the future with your family, your work and the rent of your holiday home - which we will recommend to others in Holland.

Ideal property for exploring the area. The view from the front terrace across to the hills is wonderful first thing in the morning. We were made very welcome by Andy and Denise who are a mine of information about the area. They gave us lots of tips about where to go, how long it would take to get there and the most scenic route to get there - even which side/direction to walk along the river bank to get the best views. They were always available to answer questions and give advice and helped to make our holiday run smoothly. The property, although small, is very well equipped, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be visiting again!
