Set on a large private detached plot of over 18,000 square metres, in the very midst of one of the valley, Casa Carlos is located in a quiet location close to the heart of the popular destinations of Moraira, Calpe, Altea and Jalon on Spain’s Glorious Costa Blanca… The Casa is a traditional Spanish finca that has been fully restored and modernised to offer the traveller every consideration for that perfect family vacation, yet the owners have retained all of the charm that bygone Iberian home, with every eye to detail and no expense spared…. The house boasts many luxurious amenities, to the rear of the property we have, a large private and enclosed garden area, which is host to a huge fresh water 15x7 meter private swimming pool, with integral children’s pool, complete with diving board, and pool slide, it is of course floodlit for those romantic Iberian nights under the stars!!, outdoor BBQ areas, and large open terraces to the upper and lower accommodation, sun beds and seating for up to 24 persons, and many tropical cabanas to escape the heat of the Mediterranean sun. To the front elevation of the property, we have large, floodlit Italian style gardens with tropical fauna, and private off road parking for up to 12 vehicles The accommodation is set over two levels, of the hacienda, with there being a total of 9 bedrooms, which can all be arranged to suit your party, with an option of 6 doubles and 3 twins, or 8 doubles and 1 twin, the rooms can sleep up to 18 persons very comfortably or up to 24 persons, with the option of adding further beds to the various very large bedrooms. All rooms are fully air conditioned, and 8 of the 9 rooms have private en suite bathrooms, all the rooms have full size wardrobes. The house also has full kitchen, with all amenities, including oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and fresh fruit juicer, and also of course, large fridge freezer. To the lounge there is a large screen television, with sky satellite coverage, dvd/cd player, and large open fireplace, for those cosy pine log fires in the winter! also super large comfortable sofas for those relaxing nights after the long sunny days, also to the lounge again, we have full hot and cold air conditioning, The house has its own staff, who live in the grounds, and who are personally on hand to deal and assist with your holiday stay, and can arrange car hire, personal airport collection, cleaning and baby-sitting services as required. They will also advise on local restaurants and places of interest to visit. The in house staff are able to offer your party a choice of self catering holiday, or a meal and drinks inclusive package, to your requirements, further details with menus upon request. Due to the unique private setting of this house, the owner is able to offer many kinds of activities during your stay, from walking excursions to mountain biking, and quad biking rides through the mountainside The two churches of Calpe are certainly worth a visit. Close to each other the Iglesia Antigua and the church Senora de las Nieves are both located in the centre of Calpe. Build in the 15th century the old church had been recondition many time over the past centuries, as the city had been attacked by pirates many times. Calpes archaeological museum can be found just opposite at the plaza de la villa shows various findings of the 4th until the 8th century. Alongside you find ruins of the Romans and the ruins of the bano de la reina, together with rests of an old tower the torreon de la peca. If you are further interested in local culture you should visit the museo fester in Calle Jose Antoni, which explains the local Calpe fiesta moros y cristianos and its traditions. The Calpe tourist information at the Avenida ejercitos espanoles (Tel. 965 83 69 20) can be reached passing trough the streets of Calpe with its shops, restaurants, bars, and fine stores. Calpes two main beaches the cantal roig and the playa arenal are widely known for its fine sand. Together with the other two beaches, la fossa and the bay of Gasparet which also belongs to the city, Calpe offers many kilometers of excellent swimming and surfing possibilities, also for the golfers Calpe offers its own course, alongside the best courses on this stretch of coast.. Calpe is a town of a near perfect combination of romantic village together with sun and beach. In between Altea to the south and Javea to the north, Calpe with its about 13 000 habitants is known for its rock called the penon de lfach. This massive rock has been inspiring people from everywhere to come and enjoy the nearly perfect view around the bays and the Costa Blanca.
