The apartment offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, a dining area, a comfortable lounge, air conditioning and heating, a sun terrace, TV, SKY Satalite, DVD player and parking. Besides the obvious attraction of the golf course, there are other activities such as horse riding and tennis and water sports along the coastline. The beautiful countryside is also very attractive for walking and mountain biking. Whatever your holiday criteria are, golfing, relaxing or a family holiday...this is the right location. This two bedroom ground floor luxury apartment is newly finished and complete with new furnishings. There is an en-suite bathroom with bath, bidet, shower and wash basin, and a separate guest bathroom with shower. A fully equipped kitchen. The terrace that overlooks the golf course has wonderful views of the mountains and golf course. A large communal pool is just below the terrace.
Alhaurin el Grande, Andalusia - Costa Del Sol
Alhaurin, a beautiful village which dates from Roman times is 5 minutes from the apartment. The village is at the foot of the Mijas mountains viewing the Guadalhorce valley with its orange and lemon trees.
Alhaurin, with a population of 20.000 inhabitants, enjoys a mixture of town and country life. You can go for a walk in the mountains, try some of the local "Tapas" (small snacks) or have a drink at any of the bars and disco pubs.
10 minutes away, perched high above Fuengirola and Mijas Costa are spectacular views of the coast. Mijas is a typical Andaluz village with narrow cobbled streets and terraces full of beautiful plants, red tile roofs and archways. There are also a wide selection of Restaurants to choose from.
Marbella, with its beaches, shops, restaurants and many other attractions is 30 minutes away.
The Golf Complex
The Alhaurin Golf complex, designed by Seve Ballesteros and literally “cut out of the mountains” is situated between Mijas and Coin high in the mountain range of the Sierra del Mijas. It offers incredible views of the forested mountains, the valley, the Mediterranean and distant North African coast line.
This 18 hole par 72 golf course is challenging off the yellows and totally Tiger Woods off the whites! There’s a testing 9 hole par 3, that’s mainly over water and a driving range and golf academy. With an average of 320 days of sunshine in excess of 20 degrees and 90 other golf courses between Malaga and Gibraltar - this is indeed a Golfers Paradise!!
Places to visit
Benalmadena: A short 25 mins drive and you will arrive in this busy old town and port with lovely harbour surrounded shops, bars and restaurants, with great beaches.
Fuengirola: One of the best shopping towns on the Costa, good beaches and sea front cafes. Look out for the Aquapark: a great day for kids of any age.
Marbella: The Playground of the rich and famous, Marbella offers many high class shops and restaurants. The beautiful old town with its catacomb of alleys and small plazas is centred around the charming Plaza de los Naranjos.
Puerto Banus: To the west of Marbella, offering plenty of restaurants and exclusive shops around the famours marina.
Ronda: 90 mins drive along the coast road and the mountains of the Sierra de Ronda will take you to the ancient town of Ronda, including the oldest bullring in Spain, Moorish and Roman ruins and the stunning Tajo gorge and panoramic views.
Granada and the Alhambra Palace: Around a 2 hour drive north of Malaga, this is well worth a visit. The last city to be removed from Moorish control in 1492, Granada offers a fantastic day out. The Alhambra Palace dominates the skyline with ancient history and panoramic views to match.
The nearby Sierra Nevada also provides Europes most southerly Ski rtesort!
Malaga: Often just treated as an airport, the capital of the Costa has much more to offer: The Moorish Palace, Roman ruins, Gibralfaro Castle, Cathedral and the Picasso Museum - Malaga being his birthplace
