Description: |
The town of Almoradi is located on the northern side of the Segura River, on the southern of Costa Blanca, and is approximately 20 minutes drive from the coastal towns of Torrevieja & Guardamar.
Airports – Both Murcia and Alicante are an easy 30 minute drive away.
On the outskirts of the village and within easy walking distance of its amenities are the Apartments.
Almoradi is also well known for its mild climate & the entire region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F).
There are many fiestas throughout the year and a large market every Saturday. There are regular buses to other resorts but a car would be recommended to discover the many quieter beaches in the vicinity.
The village is a bustling little place with supermarkets, shops, medical facilities, banks, inexpensive restaurants plus a good selection of friendly bars.
It is the perfect place to holiday if you want to stay in a Spanish town that hasn’t lost its Spanish feel but still has a lot to offer those who don’t speak fluent Spanish.
