Villa Tranquilla includes this one bed holiday let vacation flat, condo apartment rental and is located on a peaceful hillside development, only a short walk from the nearest beach, supermarket, restaurants & 5* hotel.
Valle Romano (Golf & Football Academy) is only a few minutes drive.
Puerto Banus; Marbella; Manilva & Duquesa are all close and Gibraltar is only a 40 minute drive. Seville; Granada; Cadiz; Cordoba; Malaga; Ronda & Jerez are all in easy driving distance.
Estepona is a peaceful non-touristy seaside town, well worth exploring and enjoying from our lovely apartment to rent. We have painstakingly turned the villa into 4 luxury apartments (we live in one) trying to create a genuine ‘home-away-from-home’ feel and avoiding the cheap & nasty new-pine furniture that seems to be in holiday rentals all over Europe. Instead, furniture and fittings have been carefully selected from local and inland retailers to create something a little special. A memorable holiday setting that you would, we hope recommend to friends & family.
Always immaculately presented. The “Pool Apartment” is you’ve guessed it, overlooking the pool as well as the sea in the near distance. It has a good-sized covered terrace to enjoy even when the sun is too strong to sit out in, or if it is one of those rare rainy days. You can still barbeque, relax, eat or just enjoy the view!!!
The swimming pool is HEATED from 1 October – 30 April at a small extra charge (currently 55e / week) The living area comprises a salon with 2 very comfortable sofas and an entertainment section (Freeview + German/French/Spanish/Dutch channels TV., VCR, CD, DVD) There is a free-to-use selection of over 350 films etc. This area is open to the dining table & 4 chairs as well as the kitchen with machines including an electric oven, gas hob, refrigerator-freezer, slimline dishwasher (communal washing machine is in the garage) juicer; toaster; coffee-maker; microwave; kettle; blender etc. There is an extractor hood as well.
The bedroom is about 17’ x 13’ with a king-size bed (separates if required) and wall of deep wardrobes. In addition is a study area and wall mirror/consul/padded chair ideal for putting on make-up. There is also a 2nd TV. The view from this room is again towards the pool / garden / sea. The shower/WC/bidet/wash basin is en-suite and has an external window. A spare bed(s) can be added to this apartment and there is space in either of the main rooms. For your safety, each apartment has a smoke detector(s), fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide detector/alarm.
Adjoining this apartment and approached from outside the flat is a communal WC that can, if required be used by the 3rd the garage is table-tennis and the communal washing machine. For 7 euros / week you can use your wireless lap-top 24/7. The apartment has an interconnecting door to the 2 bed apartment next door (Fountain Apt). They can combine to make a 3 bed-3 shower room unit.
The delightful town of Estepona (founded 500 years ago) is only a 10 minute drive and is still very much a Spanish seaside town, with about a 90% native population. Unlike some of the other more popular package-deal locations, the crime rate here is very low and the “British” influence (fish & chips; wimpy bars; pubs; cheap souvenir shops; fights; tattooed bodies everywhere; Union Jacks etc.) are pretty-much non-existent. Instead, you will find tapas bars; pretty plazas; cobbled streets of white stucco-fronted houses; sidewalk cafes; lots of independently owned shops; kiosks; ice-cream parlors; inexpensive Spanish & international restaurants and a few Estate Agencies!!
The Port of Estepona is still a working fishing Port with fresh fish sold there to local restaurants & fishmongers every is a far more cosmopolitan area with shops & restaurants owned and operated mainly by Spanish, but also British; Belgian; Dutch & German entrepreneurs. There are around twenty eateries; supermarkets; newsagent; tobacco shop; nightclub and oh yes – almost forgot – Estate Agencies as well. It is a pretty place, especially in the evening when the fairy lights are on. Dolphin watching; deep-sea fishing and other aquatic pastimes can be organized here in season.
In conclusion, Estepona is great for people looking for a reasonably quiet typically Spanish holiday destination that has been, in the main, overlooked by the package holiday villa apartments are for the more discerning client (you!) who wants to avoid large multi-storey flat complexes surrounding a small, cold water pool and instead relax by or in a heated pool, surrounded by a large floral garden with the sea in the distance and sharing all this with a maximum of 2 other apartments.
