Oasis de Capistrano & Nerja
Just a couple of Km from the historic centre of Nerja lie the 6 or so acres of the mature, lush subtropical development Oasis de Capistrano. A cosseting environment for us all to enjoy ourselves and without doubt Nerja’s most prestigious development. 3 beautiful swimming pools, one exclusively for children, Petanca courts, 2 Restaurants including the French owned L’ Exotico offering everything from light daytime snacks to a gourmet evening. A typical Spanish country pathway leads past the aqueduct through fruit trees offering stunning views on your way to the “Blue flag” Burrainna Beach. Back at Oasis local buses, taxis and payphones are all available.
For those unfamiliar with Nerja, it truly is a delight. Lying just 45 minutes from Malaga airport, Nerja centres around the historic Balcon de Europa, the 17th Century El Salvador Church and the Moorish influenced old quarter. 10 beaches and small coves, restaurants and shops all abound with a traditional Spanish feel. The people of Nerja love their traditional Fiestas and celebrate, sometimes throughout the night and often for many days! The famous Nerja Caves draw visitors from around the world, featuring International Concerts in the summer. With most activities available Nerja has something for everyone
