This is an absolutely charming and very comfortable Spanish house with ample room set in the lovely village of Castello De Rugat.

Description: |
This wonderful, comfortable yet deceptively large house has all the qualities to make you feel you are spending your holiday in the real Spain. Positioned on an old cobbled street and surrounded by mountains you are in a quiet haven away from the hussle and bustle of the Costas and yet only 20 minutes from the beautiful Blue Flag beaches of Gandia.
This area is perfect for walking or riding or exploring in your car. Alcoi and Ontinyente are just 15 km away. Also close is Bocairente and its prehistoric caves and Villena whose Castle houses some of Spain’s most valuable treasures.
You also have Valencia 45 minutes to the north and Alicante 1 hour to the south. Benidorm with all its attractions including the Terramitica theme park owned by Universal Studios is just 45 minutes away. Also from nearby Denia are the ferries to Ibiza (2 hours) if you fancy some serious clubbing.
The house provides all you will need for an authentic Spanish holiday. Downstairs you will find a lovely entrance hall, a study with tv, a dining room, a comfortable lounge with tv and DVD and Sky (bring your own card), a bathroom, a breakfast area, a store room and a fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking your favourite Spanish recipes. Downstairs you will also find 2 patios one with a fish pond. Upstairs there is another sitting room and leading off this are 4 double bedrooms, 3 of the bedrooms have balconies. There is also a further bathroom.
From the upper sitting room a staircase leads to the sun terrace, equipped with 2 sun beds where you can soak up the sun and experience the breath taking view of the mountains all around you.
Within the village of Castello De Rugat you will find everything you need, a Supermarket, shops, a Pharmacy, excellent restaurants, bars, and during the summer months a municipal swimming pool complete with its own restaurant.
The rural location of this house means that a car is essential.
Guidebooks and maps for exploring by foot or in the car are provided in the house.
