Review submitted by William from Liverpool (Submitted: 20 Aug 2011) An excellent property with everything you could wish for. Stunning views from the roof top terrace.
Review submitted by karen from rennes (Submitted: 4 Aug 2011) We spent an excellent stay. The appartment was very nice, the side is fantastic. We founded all that we were looking for : the sea, the temperature, the tranquillity. The weather was very fine, and we had a wonderful view. Its a little paradise ! We recommend it.

Hello Mr Kind,
Just a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your apartment in La Azohia. Everything was as described and we needed for nothing.
This is our third year running , twice a year, at El Pinar de sans Gines and have rented various apartments; However, we have found our favourite with yours! The layout with access to the roof terrace from the living room was so much better and we used the lower balcony for all our meals.
With all that in mind we would like to return again next year.

"What a beautiful location! La Ahozia is a rare unspoilt gem on the Spanish Costa Colida. From the spacious roof terrace of the apartment there are great views of the turquoise seas (great for snorkelling) with a mountain backdro p in the distance behind. There is plenty of choices for beaches nearby and palm tree promenades to stroll along. It was not at all crowded, even in the first week of August when we went. There are a few nice bars/restaurants in La Ahozia, but if you want more choice you can drive 5/10 minutes into Isla Plena. Another 10 minutes drive will bring you into Puerto Mazarron which is a much busier but pretty resort that I would compare to Guadamar further back up the coast. The Apartment was very comfortable for my family of four and had everything we could have needed. If your bothered about flies and mozzies (like I am) you have nothing to worry about - there are sliding mesh screens on all doors and windows, and the whole area seems to be mozzy free anyway. There are two small shared pools on the complex, which we never found busy - but we would have liked them to have been bigger. It is about a 300 yard walk down to the beach/promenade from the apartment. We found a car useful to explore the local area and beaches and ports/marinas. In conclusion, we had a fabulous holiday in a beautiful location - very relaxing, and I would definately recommend it!"

"The apartment was exactly as described and totally met our expectations. The views from both the terrace and the windows in the kitchen and lounge room are lovely. It is an excellent apartment for a holiday in the area."

"A very enjoyable stay in a well equipped and comfortable property. Although the weather in February was a bit cold at times, the owners had thoughtfully supplied extra blankets and hot water bottles. The property is in a good location and has great views of the bay of Mazarron. We are definitely considering returning next year."

"This very well equipped apartment is ideal for a quiet relaxing holiday, even in the middle of July! We were even lucky to have exclusive use of the pool on numerous occasions. The stunning views from the rooftop solarium made it a perfect place to relax day and night. La Azohia is an unspoilt spanish fishing village with lovely beach."

"This is an excellent apartment, well furnished, lacking for nothing. Supurb position in a unspoilt Spanish village with great beaches just 400 yards away. The apartment was very homely and the beds were very comfortable. Nothing has been spared by the owner to ensure you have a good relaxing time. This is one I will be going back to later on...."

"I rented this apartment for my parents, and they are already saving up for the next trip :o) They felt so good and enjoyed everything. They loved the roof terasse and the spectacular view over the sea - they miss it already.... The apartment was perfect, clean, cosy and a real home to home - very well equiped. We will definately book again, perhaps already this year - so thanks for a perfect and relaxing holiday."

"The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and cosy and quiet. La Azohia is a very small fishermens village and in winter time there are not many bars or restaurants open. When you want to eat out, you have to go to Isla Plana or Puerto Mazzaron."

"This property is everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. It is modern, immaculately clean and well kitted out for a self catering holiday. The roof terrace is absolutely beautiful and has sea views - perfect for watching the sun go down. It is sitauted less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and has on site swimming pools - 3 in total I believe. The apartment is within a very close walking distance to local resturants and a short drive away from Mazzaron which is a slightly busier spanish resort. I recommend The Escape for a peaceful get away and complete rejuvenation."

"Apartment could not be faulted .The views were incredible from all areas of the apartment. The owners made the apartment as comfortable as your own home. You would definetly require a car to take full advantage of the area but if you just wanted to relax as we did this was the place to go."

"Thr apartment was tastefully furnished, and was in an excellent position at the front of the complex with beautiful views over bay. Although it had 2 bedrooms I feel it would be cramped with 4 adults, perfect for a couple. The apartment was well equiped but I was disappointed there was no dishwasher, and no air conditioning, but ceiling fans in each room which were just adequate in July temperatures. Having said that I would return as overall it was a lovely apartment andd the village was typically spanish. "
