A beautifully renovated townhouse close to La Cala de Mijas and only 2 minutes walk to a selection of bars and restaurants and 4 minutes walk to miles of sandy beaches. The property has been recently fully refurbished to offer quality holiday accomodation. It has laminate floors throughout, light, airy, spacious rooms cooled in the summer or heated in the winter by the air-conditioning and radiators. The property has a private entrance with access onto a terrace area having table and chairs for relaxation and dining al-fresco. The terrace faces south-west so enjoys sun most of the day.

The lounge/dining area is spacious having 2 three seater sofas, coffee table, dining table and chairs for 4 people and quality entertainment systems. This includes English Satellite TV, DVD player, and quality Hi-Fi system.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of silver applicances, offering all you need for your self-catering holiday. The family bathroom has a full size bath with overhead shower, WC, wash basin and a power shower cubicle with jets.

The upper area of the house is accessed via 7 steps, leading to the family bathroom and bedrooms. The two bedrooms both have built-in wardrobes, the master bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has twin beds which can be combined to provide a king-size. A fold-up bed is available on request to sleep a 5th person.

The house is in a quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing garden, a patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a tennis court. Parking available.

The house is close to the beach with swimming, walking, cycling, tennis, shopping areas, a restaurant, and food shop. Close to the house you will find sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, golf, scuba diving, historic sites, a zoo, a themepark. Within easy reach of the apartment you will find a sports center. There is a local Horse Racing Track, and a Bull Ring in Mijas village - about 20 mins drive. The vibrant city of Marbella is only 20 mins drive away.

Two weeks R & R in La Cala

From my first contact with Phil (property owner)and even after I returned home, communication was excellent. The property and location was eveything Phil promised it would be. My only disapointment was the absence of a coffee machine at the property, which was minor as the cafes and bars at Jardin Botanico (one minute's walk away) all serve a great cappuccino. The beach was a four minute walk away and could be reached via a well maintained pedestrian underpass thus eliminating the need to cross over the main road. Facilities on the beach were good, i.e. toilets, showers, (sunbeds, charged for of course) cafes and restaurants. There was a small independent supermarket nearby selling fresh produce. The staff there were always friendly and helpful. A greater range of facilities can be found 8-10 minutes walk from the property in central La Cala, a vibrant little fishing village. All in all a great place to holiday and my family and I are looking forward to returning again next summer.

We stayed for a week recently (aug) and on the whole had a relaxing time. The property was large enough to move around and not be on each others toes,the pool was excellent,never too busy,good temperature and clean. There`s a few bars/eateries close by(all english).The only problems we had were due to the spanish simply treating the english tourists with distain,not quite sure why but they were rude/ignorant and distant,it was very obvious. If you can live with this minor problem then you will enjoy,the beaches are well kept with plenty of life guards and there are some great places to go inland if you want to escape the bustle of the town.

Great property

There are not many properties along the coast where you don't require a car! Here you can walk to bars and restaurants, public transport and the beach...wonderful! Lovely quiet location offering very good value. Phil, thank you for a lovely holiday...regards etc
