Description: |
Guardamar is a typical Spanish seaside town with a good choice of shops, bars and restaurants and a street market every Wednesday. The golden sandy beaches hold the Blue Flag award for cleanliness. There is the choice between the town beach with its promenade or towards the marina the beach is backed by sand dunes and pine trees. This is a conservation area and is excellent for walks and picnics. The town holds many spectacular Fiestas throughout the year and in July and August there is a nightly street market and funfair. Also there are free concerts in the park in August.
There are several Golf courses a short drive away and Guardamar is an excellent location for all watersports. There is also an Aquapark in Torrevieja.
Guardamar is ideally placed for exploring further afield. Buses are easy and cheap and run to Alicante to the north and Torrevieja (and further) to the south.
You will find infomation on the area and a bus timetable in the apartment, and information on all current local events can be obtained from the Tourist Information Office situated in the Town Hall square.
There are also books in the apartment for your holiday reading and some childrens beach toys.

Our apartment is situated on the first floor of a small block with the balcony overlooking the attractive pool area. There is also a communal roof terrace - ideal for sunbathing. Two petanca courts have recently been added to the facilities. (Petanca set available in the apartment)
Please note that beach/pool towels are NOT provided - please bring your own. |

Special notes The prices shown are for 2 people sharing. For more than 2 there is an extra charge of £10 per person per week.
End of stay cleaning and laundry is included in the price.
We require payment of 50% to secure your booking - the balance is then due 6 weeks prior to your holiday together with £100 refundable bond. The bond will be returned to you within 2 weeks of your departure subject to everything being satisfactory.
We will take bookings for any number of days - minimum 3.
Cot hire is available if required.
There is another one-bedroomed apartment available for rent on the same floor as ours if you need more space or if ours is already booked for the dates you want.
