A barbecue on the rear terrace gives you the flexibility to make the most of eating al fresco. The covered dining area at the front of the villa provides welcome shade when dining during the day and in the evening provides the perfect place to chill out and watch the sun setting behind the mountains, over a sundowner.

Client comments
“We had a terrific stay at VillaMax. A delightful property, with all the necessary facilities to make a perfect stay. Stunning views and very peaceful - far from the madding crowd - just what we needed. Took four teenagers who thoroughly enjoyed chilling by the pool, followed by a night in Denia (car required!). We enjoyed watching the sun set on the hills” - IJ, South Yorkshire
“We had the best time in the villa over our week, and want to know the rates and availability for the same time next year.” - JB, Kent
“We enjoyed a comfortable stay at VillaMax and had trouble getting our daughters to leave! Thank you for a very relaxing holiday.” - CE, Surrey
“We had a lovely time at VillaMax - you have a very well cared for villa. My husband and kids (7 and 3 years old) had a great time in the pool and we loved the view especially at night” - LO, Holland
“Just wanted to write and say how much we all enjoyed our stay at VillaMax at the weekend - it is beautiful not only in location but views & the decor is perfect. Thank you” - KL, Essex
“We had a lovely holiday and were impressed with the villa as it was exactly the same as described and shown on your website. It was clean and fresh and with modern furnishings. The setting is very peaceful and the views across the valley are quite special. A very relaxing break for us.” - JK, Yorkshire
General Fiestas are frequent in the local villages and towns and you would be unlucky not to experience one during your stay. The fiesta of The Three Kings in Javea on 6th January and the Easter Passion ceremonies in Pego are not to be missed. Also of great interest are the Moors and Christian festivals which often last a day or two in July and August. The festivity moves from town to town so that for the entire summer there is a fiesta somewhere. The running of the bulls into the sea in Denia also takes place in summer. The local beach (5km away) is wide, of soft white sand, safe, 18km long, never crowded and has always maintained its ‘Blue Flag’ status. Beach facilities are excellent with beach bars, restaurants, beach sports of all sorts, lifeguards and Red Cross first aid facilities.
Located within the urbanisation is a ‘commercial centre’ with two bars, two restaurants, a bank with ATM, supermarket, internet café and a children’s play area. Denia (20km away) is a bustling, seaside resort with a fishing port, night-life, historic sites and all the attractions that a Mediterranean town has to offer. Denia was founded, by the Romans and re-built as a strong trading port by the Moors. Indeed it was one of the Moors last strongholds in Spain. Its trading history and fortifications are quite impressive. From Denia one can catch a ferry to the Balearic Islands, jet skiing, deep-sea fishing, glass-bottomed boats and the like. There is a narrow gauge railway from Denia to Alicante, which has been described in a travel review as ‘the best rail journey in Europe’. The local village of Pego (founded in 1488) is small enough to be intimate, but large enough to have all facilities you might need, including: tourist office, tapas bars, restaurants, taxi services, patisseries and supermarkets. Local markets are held in El Verger, Pego, Olivia and other nearby towns on a weekly basis.
