Nestled in a sheltered spot in the mountains of rural Spain, less than an hour from the international airport of Malaga and the Costa del Sol, lies Finca Fantastica. This unbelievable location feels like you have dropped into another world, where time is infinite. Just relax in the peaceful surroundings and spend some real quality time with your loved ones. A perfect spot for Naturists, Mountain Biking, Walking, Bird Watching (Spanish Eagles nesting nearby) - a place to enjoy all the countyside has to offer.

With such a spacious interior and high ceilings, thie enchanting finca gives the whole family plenty of room.

Finca Fantastica has:
• Private Pool with shady pergola and BBQ - tiled surrounds.
• One huge double room with large ensuite shower room
• A second smaller double room
• Twin room with door to garden
• Mosaic tiled family shower room - Gaudi style!
• Kitchen/dining room with rustic wooden country table and log burner

• Another lounge with wooden furniture suitable for use in the garden(2 adjustable back chairs, 1 bench with back, 2 chairs and slatted table) leading through double doors onto the:
• Screened roofed patio with arches through to the garden and the pool.
• Floored seating area outside the kitchen

• Plenty of garden area to spread yourselves

Mountain Biking
Surrounded by excellent tracks going in all directions: from the highest view points down to the dry (well, most of the time!) riverbeds snaking along the valleys, the mountain biking here is simply unsurpassed. With your only limits being the rare, fenced property - and perhaps your own stamina - you can safely explore the maze of tracks leading in all directions. You may meet a car on the tracks sometime during the day - but you could go the whole holiday without seeing another vehicle. Many airlines carry "bikes in bags" at small surcharges - just make sure they will fit in your hire car!

Climbing
Not far from Finca Fantastica is the climbing mecca of El Chorro. About 20-30 minutes to Alora and then another 20 minutes takes you to this splendid Natural Park. Particularly popular in the cooler months, the climbing fraternity has adopted El Chorro as the place to climb - from beginners to experienced climbers, there is something for all. Hardly any shops in El Chorro ... but there is a climbing one! Sells maps and climbing gear. A little closer is the still mostly undiscovered area of Abdalajis which offers great climbing as well. And if that isnt enough, about an hour away is El Torcal with its famous rock formations ....

Riding
Riding available in the local area for beginners and experienced riders. We have a delightful stables in the area that we recommend.

Travel
Finca Fantastica is situated approximately 12kms above the village of Éstacion de Cartama in the province of Malaga and just 50 minutes from the international airport of Malaga and the Costa del Sol.
A hire car is essential to explore the area
Distances
Gibraltar, Seville and Granada are approximately 2 hours drive away. Closer to home are the lakes of El Chorro and the sugar cube village of Frigiliana and the historical town of Antequera.

Further details
The local village has shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and bars and a busy Sunday market. A lively place in the evening where you can sit outside at a table and watch the world go by. Many of the restaurants have barbecued food available particularly at the weekends

Notes
Minimum stay is 1 week. Stays of less than a week will be charged at 1 week. Extra nights are charged at one sixth of the weekly cost.
Changeover days are flexible.
Arrival and Departure Times: We request that guests depart by 10am and do not arrive before 4pm unless by prior arrangement.
Payment: When booking, a non-returnable deposit of 25% is required, with the balance due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday. This can be paid either by bank transfer or via PayPal (using your credit card if you wish.)
