Kirsty and I are pleased to present Los Llanos, our new two bedroom apartment in the peaceful village of Los Lobos which is situated in the beautiful Almanzora region of Almeria. The question is, given the hundreds of choices you have, why should you pick ours? The answer in our opinion is the location and setting of the village.

Firstly, the apartment: the apartment is on the ground floor, which makes access easier for prams, push chairs, bags of shopping and for when the sangria has flowed a little too well! It consists of an en suite double bedroom, a twin (the beds do push together!), separate bathroom and an open plan kitchen/living area. There is also an outside utility space with a washing machine and line for your use. The apartment is set in a new, completed development, centred around a tiled private pool area. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped. We have recently installed English TV as well.

Los Lobos is a small village with a couple of bars and a corner shop that sells absolutely everything, and a restaurant is planned for 2012. The village is only 10 minutes from some very beautiful blue flag beaches and for those more active there are several golf courses nearby, the Championship course of Desert Springs (10 mins drive), Valle de Este and Mojacar to name a few, not to mention the beautiful hilly surrounds which cry out to be explored. There is scuba diving at San Juan de los Terreros, Mojacar and Villaricos, a wonderful Aqua park near Garrucha, golf driving range, pitch and putt and fitness facilities with fully equipped gym at Puerta Rey, Go-karting at Garrucha and horse riding at Vera and Mojacar.

This is what makes this apartment special. The picturesque village is far enough away to be a quiet retreat, whilst not being isolated. Garrucha, with the restaurant menus in Spanish, German, English and French is 15 mins drive from Los Lobos.

Other attractions include a myriad of market town such as Aquilas, Vera and Cuevas del Almanzora. At Tabernas there is mini Hollywood and a zoo, and the beautiful Natural Parks at Cabo de Gata and Espuna. Further a field, there are the Sierra Nevada mountains which provide excellent walking and skiing in the winter. The seafood is some of the best we have eaten, and it is a crime not to eat tapas at least once a day!

Los Lobos is 1 hr from Almeria airport, 2 hrs from Alicante and 1.5 hrs from Murcia, and is easily accessed from the E15 motorway.

Our prices are based on 4 people sharing per week. Bed linen is provided as are house towels. There is even some patio furniture for you to use! Happy for long lets and will negotiate the price for them.

Bed linen and house towels are provided, but NOT beach towels. Please bring your own. The apartment will be cleaned before you enter. Prices quoted are per week. Bookings will only be confirmed when payment has been received and cleared. A refundable breakage deposit is required.
