Description: |
This spacious luxury villa offers accommodation in a tranquil setting, yet only a few minutes drive from the fantastic beaches and nightlife of Fuengirola and Marbella. It overlooks the Mediterranean (it is 400m above sea level) and the beautiful nearby town of Mijas, which is renowned as being one of the most beautiful white villages of Spain. The villa is fully air-conditioned. There are one double master bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, sleeping up to 8 people (two full-size folding beds are also available). The third bedroom is a twin turret bedroom. ), The American kitchen with utility room and large lounge offer panoramic views of the breathtaking scenery overlooking the Mediterranean Sea towards Gibraltar. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of Africa! It has satellite TV showing the basic Sky Package. Externally there is a terrace with an extra large pool (10x5m) set in private gardens featuring a BBQ, outside dining area with garden furniture, and a garage. The property is fully fenced in and there are manned security gates at the entrance to the development complex. Mijas is 5 mins by car, Fuengirola and the beach are 10 mins by car and Marbella 20 mins. The nearest international airport is Malaga (10 miles). We also have a car to rent at very good rates, an Opel Zafira 5-7 seater automatic with aircon. We have a manager who will welcome you to the villa and provide any information required. Linen is changed every week, but please bring your own pool and beach towels. The pool and garden are very well maintained.
Local activities include swimming, golf (several courses are very near), tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, aquaparks, amusement parks, and other attractions. Andalucia has many places to visit for sightseeing and shopping: Malaga, Torremolinos, Marbella, Fuengirola, Gibraltar, Seville, Cordoba and Granada.
In the summer, the weather is very hot, but in there is almost always a sea breeze that just takes the sting out of the mid-day sun. In May/June and September/October it is a bit cooler but still very warm. The winter period (November to March) is the best time for playing golf and exploring Andalucia by car. The temperatures are very pleasant and the skies are blue. You would be very unlucky to get a week of rain but the odd day or few hours has to be accepted as it is winter after all. One can even swim in the sea in winter as it still is reasonably warm from the summer months. The evenings do tend to be cool so you would be advised to bring a sweater or a jacket when you go out.
