The beautiful villa has been totally renovated with two new bathroom and kitchens and has been retiled throughout. The villa enjoys superb views of the Mediterranean, and the imposing Penon De Ifach (Calpe Rock), the symbol of the Costa Blanca. It is set in a quiet location with mature gardens filled with vibrantly coloured plants, flowers, and citrus trees providing an ideal environment for any holiday.
The large, beautiful private pool is situated to the rear of the property, and has roman steps for easy access for children and non-swimmers. There is lighting around the pool area.
The accomodation is extremely spacious. There are two self contained apartments sleeping a total of 10 people: 4 people upstairs and up to 6 people downstairs. There is off-road gated parking.
The upstairs apartment has a main bedroom with kingsize bed and a separate twin room. Both have ceiling fans. There is a large new bathroom with a bath and shower, livingroom, brand new fully fitted kitchen, and a large Naya (sun porch). The Naya has lovely views of the Penon de Ifach and the sea and provides an ideal setting for dining al fresco.
The downstairs apartment has its own private access and consists of 2 double/twin bedrooms offering sleeping accommodation for 4, brand new fitted kitchen, and spacious living/dining room. There is also a sofa bed in the front room. The new bathroom has a bath and shower.
Sun-beds and parasols are provided.
There is a small hotel, Gran Sol, a short walk (2 minute walk) from the villa with a bar and restaurant.
Additional facilities can be enjoyed locally. Club Tenis in Calpe town offers tuition (in English) on clay courts and Club Nautico offers a wide variety of watersports.
Golf courses can be found in nearby Javea or Moraira. Golf Ifach in Moraira enjoys wonderful views of the Mediterranean and has a round of 9 holes. Javea has a round of 18 holes.
Just thirty minutes drive away is Benidorm, which boasts a bullring and several theme parks: Terra Mitica (themes on mystical civilisations from the Mediterranean region), Mundomar (exotic and marine animals) and Aqualandia water park. Being a cosmopolitan town, Benidorm offers the most varied entertainment. At night, the many nightspots provide something for every taste. The atmosphere of the Old Town is charming with winding streets of houses with the traditional Algerian-style grilles. A charming and peaceful site is that occupied by the 18th century Parish Church of San Jaime, which houses the beloved statue of Our Lady of Suffrage, patron saint of Benidorm.
In addition to the theme parks, one of our favourite places to visit is the Algar waterfall. This is a picturesque spot, one of the most surprising in the whole province, being so incredibly green and rich in water. The crystal-clear, pure waters crash against the rocks and you can bathe under the 25 metre high waterfall, or in one of the deep pools to be found in the area. Also, driving through the Sierra de Aitana mountains, you can visit the Castle at Guadalest, built in the mid-13th century by the Moors. From this fortress there are the most spectacular views extending from the Aitana and Bernia mountain ranges to Mount Serrella further down, and, on the edge of the horizon, the smooth surface of the Mediterranean.
