If these are some of the things you like when looking for a villa then take a look at OUR VILLA.

Our villa is situated on the outskirts of La Marina/oasis urbanisation bordering Elche (Elx) and San Flugencio. We have beautiful views over El Hondo nature reserve and down the road is El Oasis park. Within 2 mins by car or 10 mins on foot you can have access to all the amenities you will need such as the supermarket, shops, banks, restaurants, bars and internet cafe. As well as the local tourist information office, the police and ambulance service. A couple more minutes and you will have access to bowling, a snooker/pool club, bike hire, pharmacy, more swimming pools bars restaurants and supermarkets. About 7-10 mins away is go karting and a new selection of shops in two different commercial centresalong with overseas Iceland and lidl. 7-10 mins in the other direction is La Marina town itself and of course the beautiful beach and welcoming sea and of course an array of golf courses.

Our villa has three bedrooms in total , two on the first floor and one on the ground which is ideal for anybody with mobility problems as there is also a shower room on this floor. Being a south facing villa you get the sun all day and the views across the mountains at sunset is absolutely amazing which is why we are delighted to say our villa has two beautiful furnished balcony terraces from two of the bedrooms and a large roof terrace which has a seating area for six and sun loungers where you can enjoy this fantastic weather all year round. Inside we have a relaxing lounge area with an adjoining dining area for six where you can enjoy your meals from the modern kitchen which has all the facilities of an everyday kitchen you will need.
For your entertainment we have UK satellite TV, DVD player, CD player and playstation 2.
The communal pool is conveniently situated behind our villa inside our gated community.

Transport
Personally we would definatley recommend car hire for your holiday duration. There are plenty companies to choose from. We will happily let you know the best we have found. However if car hire is not your thing there is a bus service from the urbanisation to the local towns and beach. If you need a airport transfer this can be provided for 4 people at an extra cost of 35 euros from Alicante or 50 euros from Murcia.

Beaches
There are several blue flag sandy beaches only a short drive from the villa. Here you will find restaurants and in season watersports.

Golf
You have a good selection of courses to choose from in the surrounding area from Rojales which is 10 mins away to further a field Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villamartin which are all 20 mins. Or you could try the prestigious La Manga club which is just under an hour away but well worth a visit.

Amenities
On the urbanisation you will find everything you could possibly need for your stay. From banks, supermarkets, bars, restaurants of many cuisines, ice cream parlours, English bakeries and butchers, newsagents to the more essential doctors, dentists, pharmacy, tourist info and ambulances & police services. All these are within 2 mins drive.

Markets
There are many markets in the surounding areas, one on everyday of the week if you choose. La Marinas is on a Sunday and Thursday moring and sells everything from fresh fruit and veg to leather goods. Los montesinos is a huge market on a Sunday a real family affair.

Surrounding area
In the surrounding areas you will come across some beautiful places such as Guardamar (camel rides), Santa Pola,(pola park ) , Torrevieja (water parks and go karts) which all have great places to eat , unknown corners and fantastic beaches but if you want to explore you can go even further afield to the likes of the soothing Mar Menor (excellent water sports) or up north past Alicante and Benidorm carrying on to Calpe and Javea. Benidorm can be a wonderful day out without even going into the town itself you can visit terramitica theme park and terra natura nature park/waterpark. Of course really you can let your imagination drive you anywhere from skiing in the mountains which is a three hour drive away to visiting Guadalest a tiny mountain village or the beautiful and quaint fishing village of Villajoysia there is definitely something for everyone. Valencia is only 2-3 hour drive and is a beautiful and cultural place to visit.

We have a lovely table with six chairs for you to use.

Kitchen
In the kitchen we hope you find all modern appliances you would possibly required such as juicer, cafeteria, toaster, microwave, crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, outside dining crockery and glasses. Most importantly we have a dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, hob and grill. There is also a picnic set for your travels.

Bed 1 : double bed , air conditioning/heating , hairdryer, straightners sun terrace and patio furniture
Bed 2 : 2 full size single beds, air conditioning/heating, hairdryer, sun terrace and patio furniture.
Bed 3 : 2 full size single beds, air conditioning /heating ,hairdryer.

Bathrooms
Bath 1 : this is upstairs and has toilet with bath/shower and bidet
Bath 2 : this is downstairs and has a walk in shower and toilet

Outside
There is stone BBQ to the rear with easy access from the kitchen and a stone table with seating to the front with views of the mountains and el hondo nature reserve. There are beach chairs, beach mats and some children’s toys in a storage unit to the rear.
We have a large roof top solarium with sun loungers, table and chairs for six people as well as a small fridge to keep those drinks cold. Housed in a cupboard is the washing machine, with a drying area next to it.

Notes
All our prices are in sterling.

We have included everything in our weekly rental cost - end of stay clean, air conditioning/heating, welcome pack, personal meet and greet service with our keyholders and english tv (although we pay to a local tv company and therefore cannot not be held responsible for loss of signal or channel availability, this is out of our control)

You are welcome to pay either by cheque, bank transfer, pay pal or credit card(3.5% charge)

Our villa is available to rent for any length of period at pro-rata prices although a minimum of £100 is required for the first night (please contact us for prices).

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is needed to secure the villa with the balance outstanding to be paid 6 weeks before rental.

A £150 security deposit is due on balance payment and will be returned within 2 weeks of rental ending once everything has been checked by the keyholders.

Please note that although we are flexible on departure and arrival times if another party is arriving then access will be required for the keyholders at an agreed time with the yourselves.
All our prices are correct at time of publishing but we have the discretion to alter them.

Hi, we are just a regular family who live in the north of England. we have two teenagers, one of which has some difficulties and thus why we bought a little piece of Spain- otherwise we would never have a holiday. we try to visit three times a year but very rarely go in the summer months. We are the same as families in that we work extremly hard to make this work but enjoy every minute of it when we are there.

Fab Family holiday

We had a fabulous 2 week holiday at the villa. there were 6 in our party and there was plenty of space for us all. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you could need and more. our party was of adults and teenagers and we managed without a car as we are all fit and used to walking, I would definitely recommend a car for families with younger children or people not so fit. We had booked several coach trips before we travelled with Daves coachtrips which were excellent value for money.Thank you to Jayne and Kevin for all your helpful information and to Ian at the villa for your help when we needed assistance.

Villa de Palmera

We found the villa a real home from home - it was perfect for us. The distance to the shops was not a problem as we like a good walk. We loved the fact that the villa looked over the nature reserve. The only downside was that if we stayed in in the evening it was cold and we were unable to get the air/con/central heating to blow out warm air - only cold. So having stayed in once we made sure we went out in the evening. This was very easy for us as the purpose of our trip was to pay a surprise visit to friends who we usually stay with. We certainly surprised them! They are very social animals and usually go out most evenings, so, because we love walking, we used to walk to them, which took us about 20 mins, and then at the end of the evening they used to drop us back to the villa. Having said that a family or someone not so mobile would need a car to get about.
