Can Mayol is a traditionally built and beautifully furnished two bedroom (plus loft bedroom) Finca set amongst a pretty garden of citrus fruits, olive trees and vines. The Finca is sited in a peaceful location with magnificent views across the valley and the Tramuntana Mountains from all four terraces, and enjoys a large private and secluded salt water swimming pool. The internal layout is spacious and bright, with exposed beams throughout and rooms are well proportioned with excellent living space. It is but a 2 minutes walk to the pretty Village Square/Plaza with its church, bars, restaurants and supermarket. This is a fantastic area for walking or just relaxing whilst enjoying the marvellous views and local hospitality. The two beaches at Port de Soller are a 10 minute drive. Both the Port and the Town of Soller offer many fantastic restaurants and bars, bike rental, Mallorca vacation property, Fornalutx vacation property, boat rental and transportation to the rest of the island.
The property is accessed via a gradual and winding climb of 200 steps from the Village Square/Plaza alongside the Church and clusters of local mallorcan houses covered with bougainvillea. It takes 4 mins to walk up to the house and 2 mins back down again. Alternatively steps lead down to the house from the road and car bay above.

All rooms are beautifully furnished and compliment the natural finishes and beams. The galleried loft bedroom suite accessed via a spiral staircase and edged by intricate ballustrade boasts a very private balcony perfect for leisurely mornings, leading onto the top garden terrace, and a large en suite bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a very large double bed with mountain views through the floor to ceiling shutters. Bedroom 2 has a very large double bed (twins - can be separated) leading onto a private citrus terrace, plus en suite bathroom. The Dining room with original stone floor, original well (secured) and wood burning fireplace seats 6. The Lounge is tastefully designed with solid teak furniture and textiles, ample seating and a feature wood burning fireplace. Opening onto a large terrace with seating for the early evening sun. Adjacent to the Dining room is a fully fitted and appointed hand built wooden kitchen, opening onto a wisteria & honeysuckle clad terrace. The gardens are terraced with an abundance of citrus fruit for freshly squeezed breakfast juice, a tiny but characteristic vineyard, mature olives and hammocks for lazy days. There are four terraces in total plus a private balcony from the loft bedroom.
The large salt water swimming pool enjoys total seclusion, a very sunny spot and magnificent views from the water over to the mountains.
In the interest of other guests, this is a strictly non smoking house.
Regrettably due to the location, age and hillside terrain of the Finca and gardens, with many terrace levels externally, we would not suggest it suitable for toddlers.
For ease with luggage either wheeley suitcases or backpacks are ideal.
For winter bookings, logs can be purchased locally for the 2 wood burning fireplaces, if required.

Special notes Booking notes 50% deposit required on booking. This will be forfeited if the booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of the rental date. Outside this period half will be refunded. The balance is payable in cash on arrival plus 10 euros per person for cleaning. A fully refundable 150 Euro deposit will be required against breakages and damage.
