Description: |
Overview
The villa has recently undergone extensive refurbishment to an extremely high standard. It is situated on the urbanization of La Marina approximately 1 mile inland from a Blue Flag beach and only 20 minutes from Alicante airport and 40 minutes from San Javier (Murcia) airport. It is located in a quiet residential area with lovely views from the solarium.
The urbanization is self-contained offering supermarkets, restaurants, bars, doctors surgery, 2 swimming pool complexes, twice weekly market, Tourist Information Office, regular bus and taxi services, all within walking distances.
The Costa Blanca has an extremely sunny climate with an average temperature of 24 deg Celsius in October and its close proximity to 2 large salt lakes creates its very own micro-climate. This has prompted the WHO (World Health Organization) to name it as one of the healthiest places to live on the planet.
Accommodation
•Large double bedroom with bedside cabinets and bedside lamps, wardrobe, dressing table, wall-safe, ceiling fan, electric radiator and mini CD/radio hi-fi.
•The 2nd bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, and ceiling fan.
•The tastefully furnished lounge area has 2 settees, cable TV (with integrated CD/DVD player), uplighter, coffee tables and electric heater.
•The kitchen has recently been refurbished with an electric rotisserie oven, ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, iron and ironing board and all the utensils you would ever need including a bottle opener.
•Dining area with table and 4 chairs.
•Newly refurbished bathroom with large walk-in shower, w.c., handbasin, and wall heater.
•Air-conditioning/Hot Air are available in the main living area and is costed separately, by arrangement.
•External terrace with sun awning, table, and 4 chairs.
•Upper sun terrace (10m x 3m) has a large retractable awning, table, 2 sun loungers (with cushions), and BBQ. An ideal place for secluded sunbathing as well as a perfect eating/drinking place.
Notes on the above:
•Price includes end of stay cleaning charge of £40 GBP
•Price includes mid-term linen and towel change for 2 week+ bookings
•A winter duvet is provided on the double bed from October-March
•Bath towels are provided (Note: guests to bring their own Beach towels)
•Smoking not permitted within the villa
•No pets allowed
•Mid week and long weekend bookings available on a pro-rata basis
•Airport collection available – Alicante €25, Murcia €35 (one way)
•Welcome pack service for late night arrivals at a cost of £30 (details on request)
•A deposit of £100 GBP is required on booking. This deposit will be held until the property has been vacated and checked by the cleaner and providing there are no damages/breakages, will be returned to guests within 2 weeks
•Rental payment to be made on arrival in £ (conversion will be given)
Leisure and Sports facilities
La Marina Sports Complex is situated at Calle Bilbao on La Marina. The swimming pool entrance fee of €4.00 per day for under 10’s and €5.00 for adults includes the use of a sunbed. Facilities include snooker, bar, pizzeria, and crazy golf. There is also a AquaPark at Calle Berna, La Marina. The entrance fee is as above and includes lots of facilities for children. Both complexes are within a short walking distance of the villa.
There is a blue flag beach only a 5 minute drive away. During the summer months the coast guard tower is manned. There is an excellent restaurant that is open from 10:00am to 17:30pm serving snacks, drinks, ice-creams and full lunches. For those without transport the local bus runs from La Marina
