Accommodation
Built in 2006 this spacious 1st floor apartment has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, a large lounge/diner with an American style kitchen and a larger than average balcony with spectacular views over Bonalba golf course; the Sierra de Bonalba mountains; and down the rolling hills to El Campello, San Juan, Alicante and the sparkling Mediterranean .
Within the security of the gated Las Lomas De Bonalba urbanisation, there is a choice of 2 communal swimming pools, and landscaped gardens for sunbathing and relaxation. The apartment is newly furnished providing both comfort and convenience.
The bedrooms each have two twin beds, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets; the main bathroom has a bath with shower, the 2nd has a shower cubical and both have sink, toilet and bidet; the kitchen has a combination microwave/grill oven, hob, washing machine and fridge/freezer; the lounge includes TV. DVD, radio and a convertible settee which can sleep an additional 2 people
Position
The Bonalba Golf Resort is located in the small municipality of Mutxamel, less than a 15 minute drive to the cosmopolitan city of Alicante. The beaches of San Juan and El Campello are less than 10 minutes from the resort, whilst the main international airport at Alicante is a 20 minute drive south along the A-7 motorway.
Within a short walk you have access to Bonalba’s local shops, bars and banks and a little further on, the luxurious Bonalba Golf clubhouse, leisure centre with magnificent swimming pools, tropical gardens and Spa
The beaches of San Juan, El Campello and Alicante are within a 5-15 minute drive
Benidorm, which boasts many attractions, including the Terra Mitica theme park is a 20 minute drive north, and to the south you can find Torrevieja, and access to the stunning bay of Mar Menor.
There is a major Carrefour supermarket just a short drive away at San Juan and a host of local shops, bars restaurants at El Campello many right on the sea front with its extensive promenade. A little further a field you will find the city of Alicante has a vast range of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs from the simple to the elegant, catering for all possible tastes
Attractions
The apartment is not just for golfers, it makes a superb base for family holidays. With swimming and tennis available at the apartments, horse riding, beaches, Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia water park, Safari, Waterfall, swimming and sailing (amongst a few of the many attractions available), all within a short driving distance.
For golfers, Bonalba’s, 18 hole, Par 72 championship course will prove to be a challenge for golfers of all levels. It is laid out with a variety of trees and lakes, with a large number of bunkers. The average annual climate of 18 degrees makes Bonalba the ideal place with the perfect climate to enjoy golf everyday of the year.
Attractions and pastimes
Walking or swimming
The Sierra de Bonalba mountains provide ample opportunity for walking or hiking and are under 20 minutes drive, you will also come across many old villages and settlements providing a fascinating insight into local history. The nearest beaches are at El Campello, San Juan and in Alicante each of which boasts its own marina. In addition Alicante has a huge harbour and commercial port.

Outside amongst the trees you can enjoy the huge swimming pool with 3 different pools and an indoor pool for the winter.
Benidorm
Benidorm’s beaches and range of leisure amenities explain why has it has become Costa Blanca’s main tourist area. It has some of the best beaches in the world.
The fine sand, cleaned daily, the quality of the services and the transparency of the water are the main reasons given by Benidorm’s many visitors. The Playa de Levante, where most bathers gather, is located 2 kilometres from the old town centre, the Sierra Gelada and the Ricón de Loix. In the middle of the summer the colourful concentration of human bodies is quite impressive. The Playa de Poniente is located on the edges of the old town centre, near the Finestrat cove. The Playa de Poniente resembles the Playa de Levante, though it is more peaceful. Benidorm’s impressive commercial centre is located around the Plaza Triangular, the calle Martínez Alejos, Gambo, Dr. Perez Llorca and the wide avenida del Mediterráneo. Benidorm’s attraction lies in the variety of its leisure amenities, with its wide range of activities for all.
Golf Information
Bonalba Golf Course, with 18 holes, a par of 72, and a total length of 6,367 meters (approx. 7,000 yards) is situated very near to Alicante, and right next to the Playa de San Juan, the course offers sensational views of the sea and a perfect climate to enjoy a game at any time of year. This is an excellent course built on gentle ridges, with wide fairways, undulating greens and strategically located lakes. The complicated design makes Bonalba an interesting and fun challenge for the golfer and the variety in the holes means there is never a dull moment.
The facilities at Golf Bonalba also include the Golf Academy, a large driving range, putting greens, approach area, and bunker practise area. Other services include a clubhouse, restaurant, changing rooms with locker facilities, pro-shop, buggies, pull trolleys and electric trolleys.
The course is open everyday from 08.00. Green fees are as follows:
18 Holes - 60 Euros,
9 Holes - 32 Euros.
Buggy Hire is 27 Euros per round.
You will receive a 20% discount for renting this apartment from these fees. After the 18th, the clubhouse boasts a superb raised terrace overlooking the fairways where one can enjoy a drink.
In addition there are excellent local courses at Alicante Golf Club – Alicante, Alenda Golf Club - Monte del Cid, El Plantio Golf Club -Alicante, Real Campoamor Golf Club - Orihuela , all within a 20 minute drive, or further a field at Villamartin, La Dequesa, , La Sella, La Finca and Campoamar, with an hour’s drive.

It has 2 spacious bedrooms, both with built in wardrobes, with the main bedroom having 2 twin beds and access to the balcony

The balcony has stunning views of the golf course, towards Alicante and the sea less than 3 Kms away.
