The Apartment
NEW ! SEA SIDE LET! Situated in the beautiful setting of Cabo Roig, referred to as the jewel of the southern Costa Blanca this new 3 bedroom/2 bathroom 2nd floor apartment is fully equipped to the highest standard. In the new Rotunda complex all facilities are modern, new and designed for your convenience and comfort.
This apartment is located in an excellent position; just minutes walk from wonderful sandy beaches, bars, shops and a wide selection of restaurants to suit all tastes. Purchased as a family holiday home, so as you can imagine, the apartment and surroundings had to be perfect! Within the secure and friendly complex there is a secure communal pool with a shallow section for children surrounded by large tiled sundeck ideal to capture the rays! Private secure underground parking is provided.
This 3-bedroom apartment will suit a party of up to six. The bed configuration can be flexible to accomodate your needs. There are two double sized bedrooms; featuring a double bed and two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds. All bedrooms have fully fitted wardrobes and a built-in safe for your valuables.
There are two bathrooms - a main bathroom with bath/shower and a separate shower room. Both have WC’s, vanity units, marble floors and are fully tiled.
Bedding, towels are included in the price however please bring beach/pool towels.
The kitchen is fully fitted with a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven, hob, extractor hood, microwave, kettle and toaster. All kitchen and dining crockery and utensils provided. There is also a full size steam iron and ironing board.
The spacious open plan living room, dining room and breakfast bar has a TV with DVD player. Air conditioning/ heating system installed for your year round comfort
Outside, there is a large balcony overlooking the roundabout so you can catch the action, sunbathe and eat alfresco. Equipped with patio table and chairs for relaxing in the warm Spanish sunshine and outdoor dining.

Should you require it we are happy to operate a meet and greet service to ensure a warm welcome to our apartment to explain the facilities and introduce you to the area and this is irrespective of the arrival and departure times but a small charge is applicable for arrivals after 10pm.

Cabo Roig is a small town on the South Costa Blanca situated just 5 miles south of Torrevieja which is the nearest large town. Cabo Roig is on a small peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea. It is characterized by broad palm lined avenues and landscaped gardens. The Maritime Walk, which follows the peninsular coastline, takes you to some of the finest sandy Blue Flag award beaches on the Costa Blanca. This area offers safe swimming, a beautiful marina, rocky coves, water skiing, sailing and scuba diving all which are within an easy 15 min walking distance. There are several street markets and a number of shopping venues within easy reach to keep the shopaholics going. In the nearby town of San Pedro there is a Cinema showing movies in English and with 360 sunny days and warm temperatures this location is ideal for couples, families or golfers seeking either an active or a relaxing holiday.
The Cabo Roig “Strip”
Ideally sited at the Rotunda roundabout in Cabo Roig just minutes from the famous “Strip”, the area benefits from many restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops and banks.
Local, European, Indian and Chinese Restaurants, local and Irish Bars and Internet Cafes are all within 2 minutes walk. The Rotunda complex has a 24 hour coffee shop. Day time and night time entertainment to suit all tastes is only minutes away. No car required!!
The Beaches
There are 2 Blue Flag beaches, both sandy, within 10 minutes walk, the southern one situated in a protective cove with a small marina and overlooked by a renowned sea food restaurant. The beaches have beach bars where you can obtain snacks and refreshments.
There are local activities for all the family which include tennis, horse riding, go-karting, scuba diving, jet and water skiing, sailing sea-fishing and of course nearby are the salt lakes, nature reserves and water parks.
Golf
For the golfers there are 3 championship golf courses, Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas just a few minutes drive away and a total of 17 courses in the area. The PGA Championship Mosa Trajectum golf course is about 40 minutes away (we will be happy to assist you with accommodation and golf bookings at Mosa Trajectum). All courses are open to non members, golf clubs and buggies can be hired for a small fee at the golf courses.
Transport/Access
The area is served by two airports:
San Javier (Murcia) is 20 minutes away and Alicante is 40 minutes away. Both airports are serviced by a number of budget airlines from Ireland (Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Belfast) and most UK airports. Airport transfers up to 4 people can be arranged by pre-booking Murcia €25 Euros and Alicante €50 Euros (€45 and 70 Euros respectively after midnight) each way. Special arrangements can be made for larger parties. Taxis and car hire are available at the airports.
No car needed although private underground secure parking is available.
Easy access to the N332 coast road and the motorway opening the whole coast. Cartegena to the south and Alicante to the north offer large towns with plenty of shopping and places of interest making this an ideal base for visiting a number of attractions in the area suitable for all age groups.
Buses operate regularly from Cabo Roig during the day and evening to Torrevieja.
A taxi rank is situated across the road from the complex with English speaking drivers.
Climate
The area boasts 300 days of sunshine with an average temperature of 20 degrees centigrade making it an ideal location for beach, golf and activity holidays – summer and winter.
Nearby town of Torrevieja
Within ten minutes drive is the bustling town centre of Torrevieja with cosmopolitan shops, shopping centres, street markets, resident funfair and many restaurants and more lively nightlife is a short distance away. Buses are available hourly during the day or taxis are widely available in the evening. Torrevieja has a water park with a good range of rides and pools which is great for adults or kids just 10 mins drive away. Go-karts are available all year round on the coastal road between La Zenia and Torrevieja suitable for adults and children. A day trip to Isle of Tabarca is available during summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays from the jetty by Torrevieja marina.
The natural salt lakes on the outskirts of nearby Torrevieja contributed to the area being named as one of the healthiest places to live in the world by the World Health Organization. The salt concentration in these large pools draws moisture out of the air and with sunny days and an average temperature of 20 degrees and low annual rainfall the area is ideal for anyone suffering from Asthma, Rheumatism or Arthritis.
Torrevieja can also be reached by bus from Cabo Roig, which runs at frequent intervals.
Other Attractions
Villamartin Plaza near the golf course is superb for eating and drinking with a wide choice of restaurants and quality shops.
Mar Menor (small sea) is the largest natural swimming pool in the world. It is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts but equally wonderful for families with children, the Mar Menor has safe and sandy beaches. A diver’s paradise!
Alicante is good for shopping with a beautiful marina.
Benidorm approx 1 hr away has the largest water park in Europe and the Terra Mitica theme park for white knuckle rides.
La Manga famous golf and sports complex is just 30 mins south and Murcia has a stunning cathedral and shops. Cartagena which has naval history and the mountains which can be seen from the outskirts of Torrevieja are all easily accessible on the excellent road network. |

Special notes
A deposit of €200 Euros is payable at reservation time with full amount payable 6 weeks prior to start of your holiday.
Also a refundable deposit of €100 Euros is payable with final payment as damage insurance, this amount will be returned to you upon inspection of propertyat the time you leave and return the keys. Loss of keys and pool fob will be subject to a local charge by the property management company. Thank you for your understanding.
Linen and bath towels are provided. (Please, bring your own beach towels)
