Holiday villa for rent in Salobrena

The villa is in an extremely peaceful location and ideal for those who want to get away from it all but stay close to all amenities. Outside there is a 13 meter swimming pool with infinity edge that gives the impression of swimming in the sea. Next to tho this there is a barbecue area which can be used as an outside kitchen. This has two fridges and is equipped with all necessities. There are two smaller terraces that look out to sea. At the back of the house there is a large courtyard and separate garden. Tables and chairs are provided for alfresco eating.

This is a large house. The sitting room measures at least 15 by 15 metres and is ideal for parties. The ceiling incorporates surround sound speakers. This leads into a large dining area which incorporates a 20 foot high vaulted ceiling. We have recently turned this vaulted space into an overspill room with two couches and home cinema projector. This is reached via a spiral staircase from the dining room. The designer kitchen is equipped with central island and extractor, an American fridge and ice making machine, a double oven and dishwasher. There is a separate utility room.

Casa Mandarina is only 5 minutes from shops, supermarkets, the old town of Salobrena and the beach. Granada is about 45 minutes drive and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada make this an ideal place for holidays throughout the year. This is one of the few places in the world where you can ski in the morning and get a sun tan in the afternoon. The urbanisation has its own tennis court, small football pitch and pool which is available to our guests.

Temperatures in Summer are in the thirties but on Monte de los Almendros there is always a cooling breeze.

We were blown away by the hidden gems in the villa; old wooden doors, wonderful pieces of furniture yet beautifully combined with hi-tech appliances and services. In 2010 we added a pergola at the end of the pool. This is a perfect place to sunbathe or dine under. The views across the sea are fabulous. We also added what can only be described as a Folly in the back courtyard. It's an impressive feature over 4 metres high and adds a lot of interest to the walled garden. Ideal for early evening drinks as the sun goes down.

There are so many places to relax in and get away from people, even your own family. Holidays are very special things and we belive that we have created the perfect place to party and unwind all at the same time.
