Description: |
A very modern, spacious and luxury newly built 1st floor apartment. This beautiful apartment sleeps six with two double bedrooms, one with single beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered balcony which overlooks a well maintained communal pool. There is also private secure parking with electronic gating, a small childrens play area and a smaller pool section for the little ones. Satallite TV has also been installed with all home comforts of the UK terrrestrial channels, Kids TV, sky sports and sky movies, in fact care has been taken to tastefully decorate the apartment with everything you require to make you feel at home.
Guardamar is a typically Spanish coastal town 20km South of Alicante with parks and fountains, some of Costa Blancas finest blue flag beeches, rolling sand dunes and a protected pine forest. With just a ten minute stroll to the magnificant sandy beaches you will find numerous restaurants with cuisine for every palate, typical Spanish bars and a busy promenade hosting a nightly market in the summer months. Immediately next door to the apartment is the 5 Star Vacanzasunbeach Hotel with first class facilities if you want to spoil yourself, a handful of Spanish bars, cafes and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to a first class supermarket.
Guardamar del Segura is a lovely oasis of sand dunes, forests and beaches. Its a beautiful spot for a vacation retreat, whether you are hoping for peace and quiet or time spent on the waters. With over 300 days of sun annually, Guardamar has its own micro climate which stands it out from other neighbouring towns. The close proximity of the salt lakes enclosed within the mountainous regions in the background create excellent climatic conditions and allow Guardamar to boast one of the healthiest climates in the world as rated by the World Health Organisation.
Whilst on holiday in Guardamar why not make a visit to one of the markets, theyre great places to browse and look for those souvenirs. Wednesdays is the famous Guardamar street market or take a stroll along the night market during the evenings of the summer months and catch up with any last minute shopping. On Sundays is the Campo de Guardamar street market which has in excess of a thousand stalls and youre guaranteed to find that bargain.
A short walk will take you to the Reina Sofia park which has a beautifully designed lake, trails and waterfalls - the children will love to watch the peacocks, black swans and red squirrells that roam freely about and there is a dedicated play area for children which has loads of swings, slides and see-saws. During the summer months the park hosts regular open air concerts, all free, where you can sit back listen to the mustic or just enjoy a cold drink.
Visit the new modern marina where there are a couple of nice restaurants or visit the cafe bar where you can sit back and watch the pleasure boats coming and going. Alternatively why not make it a day to remember and charter a skippered fishing boat for swordfish or Tuna or go snorkalling off Tabarca Island. Contact details can be provided in advance.
Whilst a hire car is not necessary thereare some beautiful Moorish towns worth exploring and some fantastic attractions nearby - waterparks, safari parks, Terra Mitica and Port Adventura, the largest theme park outside Euro Disney.
The town of Rogales is no more than a five minute drive where there is a modern commercial centre and a selection of restaurants, bars and premises offering live entertainment. The commercial centre overlooks the 18 hole golf course of La Masrquesa and offers a tranquil setting during the day becoming more vibrant in the evening. Whilst Rogales and neighbouring Quesada are predominantly British and Northern European urbanisations both towns have managed to preserve their Spanish heritage.
Absolutely everything is in place to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The premises are managed in our absence by an English publican in Guardamar providing easy contact and peace of mind if you have any queries or experience any difficulties throughout your stay. He would be happy to assist in airport transfers or arranging car hire locally if required during your vacation.

The apartment is just off the main 332 and easily assessible from Alicante Airport. Airport transfers can be arranged at reduced costs and welcome packs provided for those late arrivals. The pool is beautifully maintained, gently sloping and with a seperate childrens section, and gated to prevent young ones wandering and coming to harm.
