Description: |
This pretty 2-bedroom town house style villa is located under 5 minutes away from the attractive small town of Moraira with its beautiful sandy beaches and excellent amenities. Casa Blanca is of traditional design with beamed ceilings and tiles throughout and modern fixtures and fittings to make your stay comfortable. The accommodation comprises: steps leading up to the colourful front garden and open naya; living room/dining room; modern kitchen; master bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe and en suite bathroom (toilet and shower) with mosquito screen over window; 2nd bedroom with twin beds and built in wardrobe with mosquito screen over window; separate bathroom with bath and shower; garden/patio to the rear; and stairs to the large roof terrace with views towards the Montgo and Sierra Bernia. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and portable fans elsewhere with an open fire for the winter months. The villa is part of the mature, well maintained and landscaped Maravilla community situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. There are 2 gated swimming pools very close at hand for use by community occupants with shallow ends for children and showers. Moonlighters restaurant is located at the start of the cul-de-sac and there are shops and supermarkets in the neighbouring area.
Despite rapid expansion on the Costas, Moraira has retained its innate charm and is set in rolling green terraced countryside containing vines, orange, olive and almond trees with a wonderfully varied coastline. The town and the surrounding area have many good value-for-money cafes and restaurants. Both its own beach and that of El Portet, again within 5 minutes drive, have safe and shallow bathing in beautiful settings. It also has an active fishing harbour and marina. Further afield is the mountainous Marina Alta region with spectacular views, beautiful villages and flora and fauna, all within one hour’s journey time.
To the south are: Calpe with its huge Penyal d’Ifach rock and seafood restaurants near the harbour; and the attractive towns of Altea and Albir leading to Benidorm with its superb beaches and nightlife. Near Benidorm are the Aqualandia (water slides), Mundo Mar (Sea World) and Terra Mitica (theme park and rides) attractions which are very popular with children.
To the north are: Javea with its attractive old town overlooked by the Montgo, its popular port area and Arenal beach with many restaurants and bars; Denia with its large port and tree-lined shopping streets and endless sandy beaches towards Oliva and Gandia.
Inland are: the very Spanish towns of Benitachell, Teulada and Benissa, the gateway to the Jalon valley with the pretty towns of Jalon, Alcalali and Parcent; over the Col de Rates pass to Tarbena and Guadalest with its spectacular mountain and lake views; up the Val de Laguart to Benimaurell and the wonderfully situated Hotel Alahuar; and the caves of La Cueva del Rull near Val d’Ebo.

Moraira is very well provided for from the smaller and more intimate facilities in and around the town to the larger theme parks, nightclubs, malls and supermarkets 30 minutes away near Benidorm.
An alternative to Alicante is to use Valencia airport which is 130 kms from Casa Blanca. |

Special notes A 25% non-returnable deposit is required when booking with the remaining 75% due 2 months before the start of your holiday. Please note that for the out-of-season months (November to April) rates are available on request. Although the villa is equipped with an open fireplace, it does not have central heating although there are a variety of appropriate heaters. While the out-of-season months are often warm and sunny by day, the temperature can fall rapidly at night.
For short notice bookings we will require the full cost of the villa rental as soon as possible to secure the booking.
The price includes: water, gas and electricity consumption; regular pool cleaning; and, at the end of your holiday, the laundering of linen and towels, and the cleaning of the villa.
We also provide a welcome pack with a few essentials for your use.
Please note that there is no smoking allowed in the villa.
An English speaking local representative is available and on call for emergencies throughout your stay.
We shall be flexible regarding dates but all rates are based on Saturday to Saturday lettings.
Normally, the earliest time of arrival at Casa Blanca will be 1500 hrs and the latest departure time will be 1000 hrs. However, in special cases, it may be practicable for earlier arrivals and later departures but that will depend on the timings of other occupants and the time required to clean the villa.
