Set in a large walled garden commanding magnificent sea views to the Cap de Creus Peninsula (Natural Park) and only five minutes walk to the beach.

The cottage and the Anex are only 1.5 km from Colera (Costa Brava) and 6 km from the French border (Port-Bou).

Located in the Alt Emporda region where the Pyrenees meet the Mediterranean. They are ideally situated for many activities during all year seasons: bird watching, painting, mountain-biking, astronomy and water sports.

Cala Rovellada consists of aproximally 60 properties in a secluded valley, mainly Spanish holiday homes. It is popular for fishing and lovely walks to Coll del Frare and Cementeri dels Elefants.

The cottage and the Anex are located 75 km from the International Girona Airport, which is roughly a two hour flight from various major european airports, and 170 km from Barcelona. The railway station in Colera (Port-Bou) offers mainline travel to the rest of Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy...

Alt Emporda is a Gastronomic Paradise and offers a wide range of possibilities. The cottage is a short drive to many different lovely historic villages with good restaurants and bars (Llansa, Port de la Selva, Cadaques, Empuriabrava, Roses) and from 30 Km to an attractive, famous and cultural town, Figueres.

The cottage entrance leads to a big kitchen area and a cosy lounge dining room with a woodburner, a patio glazing windows and a terrace. Two double bedrooms and one room with bunk beds. Electric heating. Beautiful living room with an other terrace with views over the garden and the sea. Shower and bathroom. An outdoor shower (hot/cold water). Attractive enclosed garden with patio furniture, bbq, trees and wild flowers.
