Description: |
Situation:
The property is situated on the Costa Blanca, approximately 30 miles south of Alicante Airport (45-50 minutes drive) and 18 miles north of Murcia San Javier Airport (15-20 minutes drive by Motorway), and approximately 4 miles from the town of Torrevieja.
Beaches:
From the apartment, it is approximately 20 minutes walk to the beach. There are several other beaches along the coast, just minutes by car.
Golf:
There are three superb golf courses just ten minutes drive away – Villamartin, Los Ramblas, and Campomor. More details regarding same can be found in the apartment.
Shops, Bars & Restaurants:
2 minutes walk from the apartment you will find a local convenience store, a couple of small pubs and restaurants, a bank, hairdresser, and car hire agency.
Just 10-12 minutes walk in the other direction, you will find a large commercial centre with a wide variety of bars, restaurants, and shops, spread over four floors. Before reaching the main commercial centre, just 4 blocks from the apartment, is a Chinese restaurant, an Italian, a great local Spanish restaurant,an Indian tapas bar, with great offers daily, and a traditional English restaurant. There is also a shop which sells English newspapers.
Beside the main commercial centre there is a large supermarket called Supercor, and about 100m along from this is on the N332 there is a Lidl and a Carrefour, and about 500m further on there is a Mas y Mas.
There is a street market in Playa Flamenca on a Saturday morning, just 10 minutes walk from the apartment – remember to bargain!
Apartment:
The apartment is in a gated community, secured by a perimeter wall, and includes a number of blocks of apartments. We are on the first floor, serviced by a lift, and our balcony overlooks the gardens, with a view of the sea to the left. There is a communal pool, surrounded by well kept gardens. On the top floor of the block, there is a large shared roof terrace, if you prefer, but it can be very hot up there in the summer months!
The apartment is 2 bed, (both with twin beds) and 2 bath. There is an open plan dining/living area, and fully equipped galley kitchen, with oven, ceramic hob, fridge – freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, coffee-maker, electric juicer, microwave, etc.
There is ample parking space surrounding the apartment block, and we also own a garage space, if you prefer to lock your car away. The garage is accessed via a remote controlled door.
Equipment:
There is a TV and DVD player in the Living area, and a selection of CDs, DVDs, and books for your use. We ask that you leave these when you depart, for the enjoyment of other guests.
There is a barbeque on the terrace, which is also equipped with patio furniture.
The apartment is also fitted with three ceiling fans, in the living area and the bedrooms, and there is also air conditioning for those hot nights. We operate a no – smoking policy in the apartment.
Bedding and towels are provided for your use.
