This wonderful villa is set on a rocky shore surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches, next to a protected natural area, in a luxury development 8 km north of Tarragona.

It features stunning unobstructed sea views, large terraces, an infinity pool, a depurated modern style and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, perfectly suited to the Mediterranean climate. Designed by architect Xavier Vendrell, it has received architectual awards in Spain and the USA for its design and seamless integration to its surroundings.

Furnished in a modern style, the villa is both comfortable and relaxed, offering nearly 500 square meters of indoor and outdoor accomodations surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden. A beautiful sandy beach is within short walking distance (200 m), and many other beaches are within a short driving distance.

The villa comfortably accomodates up to 10 persons. With 2 master bedrooms with own bathrooms located in opposite aisles, it is wonderful for 2 couples who want to spend time together while enjoying their privacy or for 2 families. Children of all ages are welcome. A crib and high chair are available, as well as a couple of smaller children beds.

Best known for its sandy beaches, the Costa Dorada offers a whole range of activities for all tastes:

- Cultural visits: the Unesco World Heritage Site Roman city of Tarraco (nowadays known as Tarragona), the Cistercian monasteries of Poblet and Santes Creus...

- The center of Barcelona is just an hour away by car, or even better, and easy 1-h train ride away, ideal for a relaxed day-long visit.

- Gastronomy: the Costa Daurada has wonderful restaurants for all budgets and delicious local fare, particularly fish. Or go wine-tasting in the famous red-wine (Priorat) and Cava (Penedes) producing regions, easily toured in a day.

- For families with children, the Jungle Trek adventure park nearby is a lot of fun. And of course, being so close (only 25km) to the famous Universal Studio Port Aventura theme park makes it easy to beat the crowds!

- Swim, sail, build a sand castle, or enjoy a stroll along the coast for beautiful views, and discovered hidden coves.

- Golf the Costa Dorada, a rising destination for golfers, with several excellent golf courses, one only 5 mn away. With mild temperatures and beautiful days, autumn and spring are the perfect time to come. From October through April, we offer a green fee at the nearby Costa Dorada Golf club to our guests! Those who just wish to relax by the pool or the fireplace will particularly enjoy the wonderful views and the absolute quietness. With no roads or traffic within hearing distance, only the sound of the waves breaks the silence. Swimming in the infinity pool with the blue Mediterranean in the background gives the illusion of swimming in the open sea. (The pool is solar-heated from April through October and is not fenced.)

Villa Tamarit is also perfect for those who wish to stay connected while taking a break with their family. The large office at the back of the villa is isolated from all the activity, yet offers sea and garden view. High-speed Internet connection is provided free of charge, as well as phone calls within Spain. Just bring your laptop.

We strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our friendly and knowledgeable property manager personally welcomes our guests at the villa upon arrival, makes sure that you will find the villa in perfect condition upon arrival, and can be relied on to assist with any inquiries. To make your life easier, one house cleaning session is included in mid-week, and more can be arranged for a small extra charge. Complimentary breakfast is provided for the first day of stay. Grocery shopping can be arranged, given advance notice (at extra cost, depending on list).

For 7-10 persons, there is an extra charge of 5% per extra person.
30% due at time of booking.
1,000 € fully refundable security deposit due one week prior to arrival.
Initial and final clean up, as well as one maid service during the week, gardening and pool maintenance are included in the rental fee. All utilities, broadband internet connection, and national phone calls are also included.
