Description: |
Just a 30 minute drive away in Almerimar you will find a substantial commercial centre, including hypermarket, numerous shops, go-karting, cinemas, amusement arcade, restaurants, Mc Donalds. Also 5 minutes from Almerimar you will find a weekly outdoor market, indoor swimming pool, aldi and lidl. It also boasts a beautiful stretch of blue flag beaches and has a port with many varied restaurants and bars to suit all tastes which are set in a lovely location.
Almerimar also boasts a professional 27 golf course designed by Gary Player and the championship golf courses are open all year round and are renowned for the high quality of play and being the oldest in Almeria. The lovely long stretches of blue flag beaches are a ten minute walk away. The marina is the second largest in Spain, it has many varied and good restaurants and bars to suit all tastes which are set in lovely location
Roquetas de Mar is a 45 minutes drive away with its own beach, shopping area, amusements, restaurants, very large commercial area, water park and aquarium.
Almeria is 55 minutes drive away situated in the far South eastern corner of the Iberian Peninsula. This sunbaked province has the highest hours of sunshine and lowest rainfall in Europe. Almeria’s skies are also the clearest in Europe, meaning that Europe,s most powerful telescope has been installed here, near Gergal. While during winter the temperatures hardly fall below 8 degrees Celsius in the summer the Almeria weather can reach more than 40 degrees Celsius. This makes Almeria and its weather one of the warmest along the coast.
1 hour drive away is Fort Bravo, Texas Hollywood in Europe, where films such as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and a Fist Full of Dollars plus many more where filmed, live shows everyday. 90 minute drive to Sierra Nevada Mountains where skiing is seasonal, beach in the morning skiing in the afternoon.
