It is said to be good for sufferers of arthritis, asthma and rheumatism and the area is regarded by the World Health Organisation as having the healthiest climate in Europe. Our apartment is a fully equipped 2 bed one bath apartment with sea views situated in the residenital complex of Parque de Avenidas in the town of Torrevieja. The apartment has british satellite TV with over 40 channels. The complex has two pools and a playground, ideal and safe for children. Town centre is only 10 min walk; 15 mins walk to beach; 5 mins walk to the water park, 10 mins walk to the new shopping centre Habernas. The local market held every Friday is a few blocks away. Golf : For the golfer there is a large selection of courses including the championship VilLa Martin course. Within a short distance are the Las Ramblas and Campoamor golf courses. La Finca and Quesda are new golf courses a short drive away. The famous La Manga and about 15 other golf courses are found in the Costa Blanca region. With a car on hire ( very cheap rates ) visit the towns of Elche, Murcia, Orihuela, Alicante and Valencia.
