Description: |
The property is located in a predominanlty residential area which therefore gives you the real feeling of being in Spain. The terrace in front and the solarium on the roof provide wonderfully relaxing areas to soak up the sun and take in the views with Alicante in the distance. Summer time you are treated to spectacular firework displays from the roof terrace. The communal swimming pool is just across the road - so not far to go for a cooling swim. Nearby is the small town of Mutxamel which is fabulously Spanish and has a very lively outdoor market on Wednesdays. Those of you who are fond of nougat can visit Spain´s most famous nougat factory in Jijona and lovers of chocolate can visit the home of Spain´s famous Valor at Vilajoyosa. A boat trip to the nearby Isla de Tabarca is wonderful day out for those wishing to snorkel or just enjoy a meal in one of the many splendid restaurants, watching the world go by.

The property was newly completed in in 2006 and is blessed with stunning views of both the coast and the mountains. The location provides a superb base to enjoy all aspects of the Alicante region. A trip by tram or car to the city of Alicante will delight you with a beautiful beach, harbour, esplanade, bars, restaurants, shops as well as being a cultural centre with historic sites and a castle. The coastal area is a playground for all ages. Both the nearby beaches of El Campello and San Juan are accessed within minutes and there you will find a friendly relaxing atmosphere and also a variety of watersports for everyone to enjoy. Benidorm is a short distance by car and there you can visit the popular Terra Mitica theme park and zoo plus.Another must is a visit to Aqualandia - a great water park for all ages! Both Benidorm and and Alicante have a terrific nightlife. The mountains behind are a delight for walkers and cyclists and a visit to the nearby caves in Busot is also another must! A week is not enough here - there is so much to do - or of course relax in the sunshine! Alicante is known as "The City of Light" and boasts 320 days of sunshine every year. We live here and so we know it is true! |
