Our lovely apartment is situated within a prestigious private community, which enjoys peace and quiet on the one hand, while benefiting from the proximity of The Strip (Avenida Espana) right outside the front gate of the community grounds, with a variety of shops, restaurants and bars. So you can relax and tank up energy and sun at home, in the gardens or on the beach nearby, but eat out and drink at night without having to drive. A beautiful pool for the whole family.
Our apartment has been tastefully equipped with everything you could possibly need for the perfect holiday.

It is available all year round - there is adequate heating provided for colder weather and air conditioning in summer. Relax over a lazy breakfast on the sunny terrace, lie on the sun-beds and sip a cool drink or light up the BBQ on the terrace in the evening and chill out with your own gourmet grill under the stars.

The local beach is about 15-minutes walk away from the apartment, but there are plenty of beautiful, sandy beaches within short drives in each direction along the coast. There are ten golf courses in the area and a well-equipped public sports centre with multiple tennis/squash courts and a large gymnasium.

Calahonda is an attractive holiday village, ideally situated between Malaga Airport (25minutes by car) and the famous city of Marbella (15 minutes by car). The nearest town is Fuengirola, (7 minutes away by car). Historical and cultural places like Alhambra, Rhonda, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Jerez, Cadiz and Gibraltar can all be reached on 1-day trip by car, and the beautiful ski resort of Sierra Nevada is only a 2-hour drive away - ski one day and sunbathe the next! Or why not even take a trip down to North Africa?

Around Calahonda, you'll not only find traditional, regional cuisine, but that of other cultures too. Along side Spanish restaurants, there are excellent restaurants including British, Indian, Chinese, Swiss, Italian and French restaurants.

There is a large market on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in La Cala, close to Calahonda. Fresh local fruit and vegetables, clothes, lace and leather and all the fun of bartering for your own special price!!

Stay in Calahonda

Excellent apartment with seaview. Many good golf courses to choose from. Trips to Nerja and Alhambra worth remembering.
