Description: |
This new 2-bedroom 2nd floor Penthouse apartment is part of the impressive newly built Condesa XXI complex, it has a large private solarium, is fully air-conditioned /heating throughout, UK TV, a communal pool and private underground parking. It is situated within San Pedro Del Pinatar, which is a small farming and fishing village with 15,000 inhabitants. It is one of the main tourist resorts in the Costa Calida with 14 Kilometers of marvelous beaches on the Mar Menor and Mediterranean it is a popular destination for holidaymakers of all nationalities as well as the Spanish themselves.
There are also many walks through the nature reserve, which is ideal for bird watchers with its vast array of migratory bird species including pink Flamingos that come to nest here. The local shops and bars are within easy walking distance of the apartment. The local Monday market, which sells a wide variety of goods, is held right outside the complex and is ideal to stock up with the locally produced fruit and vegetables for your stay. The Dos Mares shopping complex is also only a 5-minute drive along the N332 towards San Javier, which has many shops, a hypermarket, cinema and ten-pin bowling.
The apartment is 10 minutes drive from Murcia airport and 50 minutes drive from Alicante. Taxi and car hire are available from both airports, we can also provide transfers if requested. Car hire is recommended.
Close bye is the beautiful costal resort of Lo Pagan where the natural beauty of the Mar Menor can be enjoyed. Lo Pagan fine sand beach looks across the Mar Menor to La Manga. The Mar Menor is an extremely warm salt-water lagoon, where the average summer time temperature is 26°C. These waters are very calm and shallow this makes them ideal for small children and adults alike. You can also find beach bars where you can enjoy a drink and eat Tapas. At night you can enjoy a stroll along the promenade where at the harbor end you will find a fairground (in the summer). At the opposite beach end you will find Therapeutic Mud Banks, renowned for their healing properties. They are especially suitable for rheumatism, treating bones and skin ailments. The use of the Mud banks is completely free as is the beautiful walk beside them. This area is also ideal for cycling.
For golfing enthusiasts, San Pedro del Pinatar is a great location, as it is surrounded by golf courses both established and new - the 3 courses of the Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Villamartin) are just a fifteen minute drive away, also close by are the courses of Roda, La Manga, La Torre Golf Resort and the Mar Menor Golf Resort.
San Pedro is an ideal location to explore the area; the resorts of Pilar de la Horadada, Cabo Roig and playa Flamenca are a 10-minute drive north along the N332. A little further a field you will find Torrevieja (15 mins), Murcia City (45 mins), Cartagena (30 mins) and Alicante (50 mins).

Special notes
A deposit of £100 is required for all bookings. Rental cost should be paid 1 month before arrival. The deposit will be returned within 7 days of departure following a check by key holder. No smoking in apartment but feel free to smoke in terrace. If the rental is cancelled within 6 weeks of arrival date 50% of deposit will be returned. Less than 6 weeks and no refund will be given. Cleaning equipment is provided for use during your stay.
Please note holiday makers are responsible for arranging their own travel insurance whilst staying at the property. |
