Description: |
The apartment has air conditioning and central heating throughout. The terrace overlooks the 17th hole of the 18 hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, a lake and a large communal pool with outdoor jacuzzi. Perfect for sun bathing, eating al fresco or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun goes down.
The dining table seats 6. There is a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher and microwave, toaster, kettle and iron.
The lounge area has a 21" flat screen TV with DVD.
Two (2) bedrooms have twin beds that can be pushed together to make a double if required. Built-in wardrobes with drawers. There is a sofa bed in the lounge for additional sleeping.
The Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort offers an 18 hole, 72 par course, but it is not just for golfers. Set amongst mountainous landscapes, the views of the greens, lakes and fairways can be enjoyed by all, with tree line avenues linking communal swimming pools and childrens play areas. There is 24 hour security and CCTV.
The town centre itself is being built around the regions most important country estate in Murcia. It will offer restaurants and bars, a supermarket, and superb club house. It is due for completion in 2009. In the mean time there will be a supermarket, pro-golf shop, Bar -cafe with terrace, childrens play areas and tennis courts on site.
As our guest, you will have access to all Polaris World resorts and facilities, including La Torre, Mar Manor and El Valle , all between 10 and 30 min drive. There will be a shuttle bus from HR to connect you to :

Costa Calida, Murcia region
Hacienda Riquelme (HR) is 3 min drive from the village of Sucina, for banks, tapas, internet cafe and local supermarkets (incl. one English), also a picturesque Roman Catholic Church.
The Regional City of Murcia is a 20 min drive away for restaurants, night life, sight-seeing, shopping. Set along the river it has been described as one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the country. Its Cathedal is the most prized among many monumental buildings.
Cartegena is another wonderful historic, walled city with great shopping facilites. The local train from Riquelme station (5 min drive) can take you there through fantastic scenery or else its a 30 min drive.
At San Javier just 20 minutes drive away is Dos Mares shopping mall, which includes 10 pin bowling, cinema and an extensive food hall.
Nueva Condomina has a shopping mall with 200 shops, including many U.K high street chains that you will be familiar with. This complex also provides a huge range of restaurants, 10 pin bowling and 6 screen cinema.
The New Water park (Terra Aqua Murcia) and Animal park (Terra Natura Murcia) provide a wonderful family day out, with something for all ages just 25 minutes from the resort. Also for the football fans, a new stadium at Nueva Condomina is the home of Real Murcia, top Spanish devision who play the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
This areas is known as the garden of Spain and has many national parks and areas of outstanding beauty. There is an abundance of wildlife and birds to be discovered.
Transport connection
Alicante international airport - - is just 45 minutes away and Murcia-San Javier airport is 10 minutes away.
By road there is a connection to the Murcia-San Javier motorway just 5 minutes away from the entrance to the resort and 7 minutes away from the new Alicante-Cartagena motorway.

A 15 min drive will take you to many beautiful beaches along the clear blue, warm waters of the Mar Menor coastal lagoon. It is separated from the Mediterranean Sea by a sand bar called La Manga. As it is tideless, it is safer for children and great for all kinds of water sports. |
