Here are some comments from previous guests:
"We booked very last minute so werent sure what to expect. Correspondence with owner prior to trip really useful. Just an hour from Valencia airport. Apartment fabulous! Was there with three children (14, 12 and 10) and were concerned would be too small and enough to do but they didnt compain of boredom once … Clean, modern, well equiped and the wahing machine was a godsend. Local area fantastic for family holiday - great beaches, splendid pool, wonderful food - especially good if you like seafood, long long walks down the coast and a truly Spanish, family orientated resort. Hope to return next year."

"The property is excellent and fully conform to the description made in the web site. The welcome by the owner was excellent. The beach is just in front and the swiming pool is wonderfull and so big that you always feel that you are alone. Shops around are good and there are several restaurants available. Really we enjoyed our stay there."

Restaurants abound in Alcossebre, including three that are recommended in the Michelin restaurant guide. The village comes alive for the Summer season between July and mid-September, with the population swelling from a sleepy five thousand in the Winter to a lively 30000 in the Summer. Most of the tourists are Spanish in this genuinely Mediterranean holiday spot, but more and more English, Norwegians, French, Germans and Dutch are finding their way to this gem of a vacation spot. There is no high-rise in Alcossebre, but surrounding tourism hot-spots like Peniscola 20 minutes to the north and Oropesa to the south have no such restrictions. These are great places to visit for those who like a quick immersion into the bustle of tourist crowds and up-market shopping but otherwise prefer a quieter holiday.
Alcalablau is situated in the beach section of Alcossebre, and can boast a small sometimes almost private beach in front: Playa del Moro. Alcossebres most popular beach, Playa Romana, is only 100 metres from the apartment complex and there are three restaurants within 100 metres of the apartments, as well as cash point, tourist info and Red Cross. The corner shop is literally on the corner less than 100 metres away, and is open from Easter to October each year.
